Shout to God with a loud cry of joy! ² (47:3) For the LORD is most high, awful; a great King over all the earth. ³ He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet. ⁴ He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. ⁵ God is gone up amid shouting, the LORD amid the sound of the trumpet. ⁶ Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises. ⁷ For God is the king of all the earth; sing a psalm for edification. ⁸ God is king over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. ⁹ The nobles among the nations have joined the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

²⁴ Then Samuel said to all the people, "Do you see the man whom the LORD has chosen? For there is no one like him among all the people." Then all the people shouted, "Long live the king!"

¹⁵ So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

¹² Then he brought out the king's son, and put the crown on him, and gave him the covenant; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, “Long live the king!”

¹⁵ and the men of Judah gave a shout. And as the men of Judah shouted, God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

¹¹ And they sang, praising and giving thanks unto the LORD because he is good, for his mercy endures for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, praising the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. ¹² But many of the elderly priests, Levites, and heads of the families who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house, but many shouted aloud with joy. ¹³ No person could distinguish the sound of joyful acclaim from the sound of people weeping, for the people shouted with great joyful acclaim and the sound was heard from afar.

⁵ God is gone up amid shouting, the LORD amid the sound of the trumpet.

⁴ Shout joyfully to the LORD all the earth. Break out into joyful singing, and make music.

⁸ Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing for joy together.

⁴⁷ Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and boast in your praise.

¹² "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

⁷ For this is what the LORD says: "Cry out with joy for Jacob and shout for the chief among the nations. Announce, give praise, and say, 'Lord, save your people, the remnant of Israel.'

¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

⁷ 'Who are you O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground, and he will bring out the top stone amid the shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" '"

⁹ Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion. Shout, daughter of Jerusalem. Look, your king comes to you. He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

³⁷ When he had almost reached the place where the road led down the Mount of Olives, every one of the many disciples began in their joy to praise God loudly for all the miracles that they had seen: ³⁸ Blessed is the King that comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! ³⁹ Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples." ⁴⁰ He replied, "I tell you, if they were quiet, the stones would cry out!"

¹ After this I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God! ² for true and just are his judgments. He has judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her lewdness and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants."

²¹ Do not tremble before them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.

⁵⁸ If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, the LORD your God,

⁵ and said, "I beg you, LORD, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments:

²⁷ All the limits of the earth shall remember and return to the LORD, And all the families of the nations shall bow down before Him." ²⁸ Because the kingship belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations. ²⁹ All the fat ones of the earth will eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust will bow before him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive.

⁷ For God is the king of all the earth; sing a psalm for edification.

⁵ By awesome deeds you answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation. You are trusted to the ends of the earth and the farthest sea.

³ Say to God: "How awesome are your works! Because of your great strength your enemies cringe before you." ⁴ All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.' Selah. ⁵ Come, and see the works of God, awesome in actions toward the sons of men.

³⁵ You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!

¹² He humbles the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.

³ For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods.

³ Let them praise your great and awesome name! He is holy.

⁶ And they will speak of the power of your awesome deeds, and I will tell of your greatness.

¹³ I beheld in the night vision, and behold, One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him. ¹⁴ And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

⁶ His indignation—who can stand before it? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; rocks are shattered before him. ⁷ the LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

¹⁴ "Cursed is the one who cheats, who has in his flock a male and vows it, but instead sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord! For I am a great king," says the LORD of hosts, "and my name is awesome among the nations."

¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

⁹ Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁶ They told the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, ¹⁷ for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

²⁹ How blessed are you, Israel! Who can be like you, a people delivered by the LORD, your shield of help and your finely crafted sword. May your enemies cower before you. You will tread down their high places.

²⁴ And when they brought these kings to Joshua, Joshua called all the men of Israel and said to the commanders of the fighting men who had gone with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." So they came near and put their feet on their necks. ²⁵ Joshua said: "Do not be afraid. Do not be terrified! Be strong and have courage: for this is what the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight."

⁴⁴ the LORD gave them rest on every side, according to all that he had sworn to their ancestors, and nobody from all their enemies withstood them, for the LORD had given all their enemies into their hand.

⁴⁷ He is the God who avenges me, and speaks to people under me.

¹⁴ I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.

¹ A Psalm by David. the LORD says to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.

²⁵ For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

²¹ who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body.

⁶ For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. the LORD your God has chosen you to be His own treasure out of all the people on the face of the earth. ⁷ The LORD did not set his love on you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples: ⁸ But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn to your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bond-men, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

¹² a land which the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are constantly on it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

³ Yes, he loves the people. All his holy ones are in your hand. They sat down at your feet; each receives your words.

³ As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

¹⁵ Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations.

¹⁹ "I said, 'How I wanted to treat you like children, and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of the nations.' I said, 'You will call me, my father, and won't turn back from following me.'

⁶ in that day I swore to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.

⁴ "I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.

⁸ The Sovereign LORD has sworn by himself. the LORD, the God of Hosts declares: "I abhor the pride of Jacob, and hate his palaces. Therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it.

⁷ "The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob: I will never forget anything they have done.

² For the LORD will restore the majesty of Jacob like the majesty of Israel; for ravagers have ravaged them and ruined their branches.

² I have loved you, says the LORD. Yet you say, How have you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother, says the LORD. Yet I loved Jacob,

³⁴ Then the King will say to those at His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take possession of the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

²² Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Kephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or the future-all things are yours! ²³ And you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

¹⁸ I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

⁴ But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, ⁵ made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!

⁴ and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you,

⁹ This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

¹ the LORD said to Moses: ² "Make two trumpets of hammered silver to use for calling the people together and for breaking camp. ³ When they are sounded, all the people are to come together to you at the door of the Tent of meeting. ⁴ If only one of them is sounded, then the chiefs, the heads of the thousands of Israel, are to come to you. ⁵ "When short blasts are sounded, the tribes camped on the east will move out. ⁶ At the sound of a second loud note, the tents on the south side are to go forward: the loud note will be the sign to go forward. ⁷ `And in the assembling of the assembly ye blow, and do not shout; ⁸ The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for you, throughout your generations. ⁹ When you wage war in your land against an enemy who is hostile to you, then sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before the face of the LORD your God and be delivered from your enemies. ¹⁰ Also, when ye be merry in your feast days and in the first days of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt sacrifices and peaceofferings, that it may be a remembrance of you before your God. I am the LORD your God."

²¹ He has not seen iniquity in Jacob, neither has He seen perverseness in Israel. the LORD his God is with him, the shout of a king is among them.

⁵ "When you hear a long blast with the ram’s horn, all the people will shout with a great shout. The wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people will go up, every man straight in to the city."

²⁴ And Shebaniah, Jehoshaphat, Nethaneel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God; and Obededom and Jehiah were also doorkeepers for the ark.

²⁸ And all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, playing loudly on lutes and harps.

⁴² and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those making a sound, and instruments of the song of God; and the sons of Jeduthun were at the gate.

⁷ Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted up, you ancient doors, so that the king of glory will come in. ⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. ⁹ Lift up your heads, O ye gates, yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors; that the King of glory may come in. ¹⁰ Who is this King of glory? the LORD Almighty, He is the King of glory. Selah.

¹⁷ The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary. ¹⁸ You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. ¹⁹ Praise be to the Lord, who is our support day by day, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

²⁴ They have seen your processions, God, even the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary. ²⁵ In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:

³³ to the one who rides the heavens, the ancient heavens. Behold! He thunders with a mighty voice.

⁶⁵ Then the LORD awoke as from sleep, Like a master jubilant from wine."

³ Blow the ram's horn in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

⁶ With trumpets and the sound of a ram's horn shout in the presence of the LORD, the king!

³ Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet! Praise him with harp and lyre!

⁵¹ While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven. ⁵² Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ⁵³ and they were continually in the temple, praising God.

⁵ For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” ⁶ So when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" ⁷ But he said to them, "It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has set by his own authority. ⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” ⁹ As he said this, he was caught up before their eyes and a cloud took him up from their sight. ¹⁰ They were looking intently into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. ¹¹ “Men of Galilee,” they said, “Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”

⁵² in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

⁸ This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He led captives away, and gave gifts to men.” ⁹ What does “He ascended” mean, except that He also descended to the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He who descended is the very one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

¹⁶ For the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

¹⁶ By common confession, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.

⁶ And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. ⁷ The first sounded his trumpet and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up and a third of the trees were burned up and all green grass was burned up. ⁸ Then the second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood, ⁹ a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. ¹⁰ Then the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star burning like a torch fell from heaven and landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. ¹¹ The name of the star is Wormwood. One-third of the water turned into wormwood, and many people died from the water because it had turned bitter. ¹² The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them darkened. And a third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. ¹³ And as I observed, I heard an eagle flying overhead, calling in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!”

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

²¹ Miriam sang to them, "Sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted! The horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea."

⁹ Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of his wondrous works!

²⁰ And David said to all the assembly, Now praise the LORD your God. And all the assembly praised the LORD, the God of their fathers and bowed down their heads and bowed-down to the LORD and the king.

⁴ Sing to God, sing praises to his name: extol him who rides upon the heavens by his name, the LORD, and rejoice before him.

¹⁸ Indeed, our shield belongs to the LORD, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹ Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. ² Sing to the LORD. Bless his name. Proclaim his salvation from day to day.

¹ Praise the LORD, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. ² For his mercy is great toward us; and the truth of the LORD [endureth] for ever. Praise ye the LORD

¹ A praise psalm by David. I will exalt you, my God, the King. I will praise your name forever and ever.

¹ Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints. ² Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King. ³ Let them praise his name with dancing. Let them make music to him with tambourines and lyres.

⁴ In that day you will say: "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. ⁵ "Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things. Let this be known to the entire world. ⁶ "Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you."

²² For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver. the LORD is our king; he is the one who will save us.

³⁷ Above his head they put up the charge against him in writing: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS

¹⁸ Do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord, ²⁰ always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ God is king over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.

⁹ The LORD will be king over all the earth at that time. There will be one LORD, and his name the only one.

¹⁴ For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. ¹⁵ What then shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

³¹ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, the LORD reigneth!

⁴ For thou hast executed my right and my cause, Thou hast sat on the throne, judging righteously:

⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. ⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you from among your companions with festive oil.

¹ Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain

¹⁴ Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loyal love and faithfulness come before your face.

¹ The LORD reigns. He is clothed with majesty. The LORD is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can't be moved.

²⁰ Can wicked rulers be allied with you? They frame mischief by decree (the law).

¹⁰ Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns." The world is also established. It can't be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.

¹ the LORD reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice.

¹ the LORD reigns! Let the nations tremble. He sits enthroned between the cherubim: let the earth be moved.

⁶ He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

¹⁶ Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

⁶ Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne, and him who was seated on it. 'The earth and the heavens fled from his presence; no place was left for them.'

⁷ "I will establish my covenant as a long lasting covenant between us. It will be for your descendants after you, for the generations to come. I will be your God and the God of your descendants after you. ⁸ "The whole land of Canaan, where you are now a guest (alien) (foreigner) (stranger), I will give a long lasting possession to you and your descendants after you. I will be their God."

¹⁰ The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.

⁶ Then he said, "I am the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." At this, Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

¹⁵ God also said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites, 'The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

¹⁰ "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."

⁷ In His days the righteous shall flourish, and plenty of peace, till the moon is not. ⁸ He shall also rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. ⁹ The dwellers in the desert shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

¹¹ Yes, all kings will bow down before him. All nations will serve him.

⁹ For you, LORD, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

² the LORD will send out your mighty scepter from Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies. ³ Your people will volunteer in the day of your power. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, you will have the dew of your youth.

⁵ "Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

¹⁰ In that day the root of Jesse, who standeth for an ensign of the people, him the Gentiles shall beseech, and his sepulchre shall be glorious.

⁸ "However you, O Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham, my friend, ⁹ "'I took you from the ends of the earth. I called you from its farthest corners. I said: 'You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not rejected you. ¹⁰ "'Do not fear for I am with you! Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'

⁷ Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to the one who is despised, to the abhorred of the nation, the servant of rulers: "Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of the LORD who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you."

²³ Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.”

⁴ "Look up, look around, and watch. All of your people assemble and come to you. Your sons come from far away. Your daughters are carried in their arms. ⁵ "Then you will see this and rejoice. Your heart will shake with joy. The riches of the sea will be brought to you. The wealth of the nations will come to you.

¹⁹ "I will set up a sign among them and send some of their survivors to the nations: to Tarshish, Put and Lud, Meshech, Rosh, Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands who have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will tell about my glory among the nations. ²⁰ They will bring all your brothers from every nation like a grain offering to the LORD. They will come on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules and camels to my holy mountain, Jerusalem, declares the LORD. They will come like the people of Israel who bring their grain offerings in clean dishes to the LORD’s temple.

³² 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living."

¹¹ And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So he is the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them. ¹² And he is also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised, but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

²⁵ I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

²⁹ And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.
