⁶ for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

¹⁰ But he knows the way that I take: when he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

⁶ The enemy is finished-in ruins forever. You have uprooted their cities. Even the memory of them has faded.

¹⁸ The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever. ¹⁹ In time of troubles they shall not be shamed, and in days of famine they shall be plentifully fed. ²⁰ But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke. ²¹ The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously. ²² For those blessed by God will inherit the land, but those cursed by him will be cut off. ²³ The LORD ordereth a good man's going, and hath pleasure in his way. ²⁴ Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.

¹⁰ The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he will gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the longing of the wicked shall perish.

¹ For the music director. Of David. A psalm. O LORD, you have searched me, and you know me. ² You know when I sit down and when I rise up. You understand my thought from afar.

³ When my spirit faints within me, you know my way. On the path where I walk, they have hidden a trap for me;

⁹ the LORD protects the strangers. He supports the fatherless and the widow, but he overthrows the way of the wicked.

¹² There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

⁹ The way of the wicked is hateful to the LORD, but He loves him who pursues righteousness.

⁷ the LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

¹³ Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, I know my sheep and my sheep know me

²⁷ My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me;

¹⁹ Nevertheless, God's firm foundation stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

¹² But these, speaking evil of the things that they do not understand (as natural animals without reason, who are made to be taken and destroyed), shall utterly perish in their own corruption,
