²³ These also are sayings of the wise. To show partiality in judgment is not good.

¹⁷ "You will not show partiality in judgment. You shall hear the small and the great. You will not fear man for the judgment is God's. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.'

¹⁹ You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

⁷ So let the fear of the LORD rest upon you, be on your guard, and act carefully, because with the LORD our God there is neither injustice, nor partiality, nor bribery."

² "How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?" Selah. ³ Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. ⁴ Rescue the weak and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹⁷ Pay attention and listen to the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my teaching,

²¹ To show partiality is not good; yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread.

¹ Who is as the wise? Who knows the interpretation of a word? Human wisdom lights his face and the strength of his face changes. ² Keep the king's command, because of the oath to God. ³ "Do not be in a hurry to leave him. Do not persist in an evil activity, for he does whatever he pleases." ⁴ for the king's word is supreme. Who can say to him, "What are you doing?" ⁵ Whoever keeps the commandment shall not come to harm, and his wise heart will know the time and procedure.

⁹ Who is wise that he can understand these things? Who is discerning that he knows them? The ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them; but transgressors stumble in them.

²⁴ Stop judging by appearances, but judge with righteous judgment!"

²⁰ Those who are guilty reprove in public, so that others may be warned. ²¹ I charge you, in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, doing nothing out of favoritism.

⁴ have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? ⁵ Listen, my dearly loved brothers; did not God choose those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be wealthy in faith and to inherit the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? ⁶ But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you? Is it not they who drag you into court?

¹⁷ But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.

¹⁷ Since you call on a Father who judges each man’s work impartially, live your lives in reverent fear during your temporary stay on earth.
