Luke 8:4 Cross References - VIN

4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, He told them this parable:

Matthew 13:2-9

2 Such large crowds gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat down, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A sower went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil. They sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seeds fell among the thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings. 8 Still other seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold. 9 He who has ears, let him hear."

Mark 4:1-9

1 Jesus again began to teach by the Sea; and, as an immense crowd was gathering round him, he got into a boat, and sat in it on the Sea, while all the people were on the shore at the water's edge. 2 and He taught them many things in parables. And in His teaching He said, 3 “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was sowing, some seeds fell along the path, and birds came and ate them up. 5 Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop. 8 And some fell on good soil, and came up and grew and yielded thirty, sixty, even a hundredfold." 9 Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
