And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling. ¹² Then he said: "Do not fear Daniel! From the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come in response to your prayer.

¹⁶ Then one who looked like a human touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke to him: »O my lord, by reason of the vision I have convulsions and I have no strength.

¹⁹ And he said, O man greatly beloved, do not fear. Peace to you. Be strong. Yea, be strong! And when he had spoken to me I was made strong. And I said, Speak, my lord, for you have made me strong.

³ His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. ⁴ and from fear of him the keepers shook and became like dead men. ⁵ The angel said to the women, "Do not you be afraid. For I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.

⁵ When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. ⁶ But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they laid Him.
