Jeremiah 25:11 Cross References - VIN

¹¹ This whole land will be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

²¹ To fill up the word of the LORD in the mouth of Jeremiah, till the land delighted in her Sabbaths: all the days she was laid waste she rested, to complete seventy years. ²² In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia. He sent a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also put it in writing. He said:

¹⁵ Now in that day Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years like the lifespan of one king. At the end of seventy years it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute: ¹⁶ Take a harp, go about the city, harlot that hast been forgotten: sing well, sing many a song, that thou mayst be remembered. ¹⁷ And it will be, after the end of seventy years, the LORD will visit Tyre; and she shall return to her hire, and will fornicate with all the kingdoms of the earth, on the face of the earth.

²⁷ the LORD says: "The whole earth will be ruined, although I will not entirely destroy it.

¹¹ »They made it a wasteland. It lies desolate before me. The whole land has become a desert, and no one cares. ¹² On all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will come. Indeed, a sword of the LORD will devour from one end of the land to the other. There will be no peace for any person.

¹² And it shall be, when seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, says the LORD; and I will make it everlasting ruins.

² in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the books the number of the years about which the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the completion of the desolation of Jerusalem, seventy years.

¹² Then the angel of the LORD replied, "O LORD of hosts, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?"
