¹⁰ for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.

³⁰ When Jesus had received the vinegar, he said: It is finished! And he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

³ Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world. ⁴ For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”

¹² But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, "he sat down at the right hand of God."

¹ Therefore, since Christ suffered in His body, arm yourselves with the same resolve, because anyone who has suffered in his body is done with sin. ² so that he can live the rest of his mortal life guided, not by human desires, but by the will of God.

¹³ And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them."
