⁸ Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?

¹⁴ Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes round and Sarah will have a son.

²⁹ Jesus replied, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. ³⁰ In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven. ³¹ But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you: ³² 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living."

³⁷ for nothing is impossible with God.

²⁷ But he said, What is impossible with men is possible with God.

²⁸ Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice ²⁹ And will come out--those who have done good rising to Life, and those who have lived evil lives rising for condemnation.

² being greatly disturbed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

⁴⁰ but God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ⁴¹ not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. ⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.

³⁰ But God raised him from the dead, ³¹ For many days he was seen by those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem; they are now his witnesses to the People.

³¹ For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead.” ³² Now when they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, "We want to hear you again on this subject."

⁶ Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee. It is because of my hope in the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.”

¹⁹ but they simply had some points of dispute with him about their own religion and about a dead man, Jesus, whom Paul asserted to be alive.

¹² But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? ¹³ If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. ¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith. ¹⁵ In that case, we are also exposed as false witnesses about God. For we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead, but He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised either. ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. ¹⁹ If only in this life we are having hope in Christ, we are more to be pitied than all men. ²⁰ But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

²¹ who, by the power that enables Him to subject all things to Himself, will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body.
