¹¹ "Manasseh king of Judah committed detestable sins. He did more evil than all the Amorites before him. He enticed Judah to do evil with his false gods.

¹⁶ And the fourth generation they shall turn back hither: for the crime of the Amorite has not been completed till now.

¹⁶ And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned, and that he made Israel to sin.

³⁰ because of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and that he caused Israel to sin by his provocation with which he provoked the LORD the God of Israel to anger.

¹⁹ for his sins that he sinned, to do the evil in the eyes of the LORD, to walk in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin that he did, to cause Israel to sin.

²⁶ Also, he acted very abominably by going after idols like all the Amorites had done whom the LORD had driven out from before the Israelites."

² He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to the detestable things of the nations that the LORD had driven out from the presence of the Israelites.

⁹ But they would not listen. Manasseh led them astray to practice more evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed in the presence of the Israelites.

¹⁶ Moreover, Manasseh shed very much innocent blood until he filled Jerusalem from one end to another, apart from his sin which he caused Judah to sin by doing evil in the eyes of the LORD.

²¹ He walked in all of the way which his father had walked, and he served the idols which his father had served and bowed down to them.

²⁶ Even so, the LORD did not turn away from his fierce and great anger that burned against Judah because of everything with which Manasseh had provoked him. ²⁷ So the Lord said, I will remove Juda also from my presence as 1 have removed Israel; and I will cast off this city of Jerusalem which I chose, and this house of which I said, My name shall be there.

³ Surely, it was on the command of the LORD against Judah to remove them from his sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done. ⁴ and also the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD was not willing to forgive.

⁴ And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah; for what he did in Jerusalem.

³ "Say this, 'The Sovereign LORD says this to Jerusalem: "Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites. Your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

⁴⁵ You are the daughter of your mother, who loathes her husband and her children; and you are the sister of your sisters, who loathed their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
