⁴ For He was indeed crucified in weakness, yet He lives by God’s power. And though we are weak in Him, yet by God’s power we will live with Him to serve you.

⁴³ Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. ⁴⁴ And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.

¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.”

³⁶ Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”

¹⁶ By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.

¹⁰ then let this be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. ¹¹ He is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ ¹² Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

⁴ and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

⁴ We therefore were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.

⁸ Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, ⁹ For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. ¹⁰ The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. ¹¹ In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

⁹ For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

³ I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.

⁴³ it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. ⁸ We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; ⁹ persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. ¹⁰ We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who are alive are always consigned to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal bodies. ¹² So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

³ For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war as the flesh does. ⁴ The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

¹⁰ For some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is unimpressive, and his speaking is of no account.”

¹⁹ and the unlimited greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his mighty strength, ²⁰ which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, ²¹ far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come. ²² And he subordinated all things under his feet, and appointed him head over all things for the church, ²³ which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills everything in every way.

⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. ⁸ And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to deatheven death on a cross. ⁹ Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁰ that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death;

¹¹ Here is a trustworthy saying: if we died with him, we will also live with him; ¹² If we endure, we will reign with him! If we disown him, he will also disown us!

⁷ During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.

¹⁸ For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body, but made alive in the spirit,

²² who has gone to heaven and is at God's right hand, with angels, hierarchies, and powers made subject to him.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, ¹⁸ the Living One. I was dead, and behold, now I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of Death and of Hades.
