¹⁷ Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.

⁵ so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another.

³ They all ate the same spiritual food ⁴ and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

²¹ You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: you cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of demons.

²⁶ For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. ²⁷ Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. ²⁸ Each one must examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.

¹² The body is a unit, though it is comprised of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ.

²⁷ Now you are the body of Christ, and each of you is a member of it.

²⁶ You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

²² And he subordinated all things under his feet, and appointed him head over all things for the church, ²³ which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills everything in every way.

¹⁵ by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace ¹⁶ and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which he put to death their enmity.

⁶ This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;

¹² in order to fit his people for the work of service, for building the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.

¹⁶ From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. And as each individual part does its work, the body grows and builds itself up in love.

²⁵ Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

¹⁹ and he loses connection to the head, from whom the whole body, supported and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows as God causes it to grow.

¹¹ Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but Christ is all and is in all.

¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to this; and be thankful.
