⁷ For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if all of you will hear his voice,

² The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

² I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

¹ The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not lack.

¹⁴ For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

⁶ Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

¹ O God, why have you cast us off for ever? why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?

¹³ So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks for ever: we will show forth your praise to all generations.

³ Know all of you that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

³ But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatsoever he has pleased.

⁶ Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. ¹¹ He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

³ Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

³³ But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

³⁰ Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord GOD. ³¹ And all of you my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord GOD.

² And saying, Repent all of you: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ³ For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare all of you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

⁵ While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear all of you him.

³ To him the gate keeper opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. ⁴ And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. ¹⁵ As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

²⁸ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.

⁷ Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) says, To day if all of you will hear his voice, ⁸ Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: ⁹ When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. ¹⁰ Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always go astray in their heart; and they have not known my ways. ¹¹ So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

¹³ But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

¹⁵ While it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

⁷ Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

¹⁶ But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city.

²⁵ For all of you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
