³⁵ O God, you are terrible out of your holy places: the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

¹ Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.

²⁵ Your shoes shall be iron and brass; and as your days, so shall your strength be.

⁵ And said, I plead to you, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keeps covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

¹¹ The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

⁴ And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you terrible things.

² For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

⁵ By terrible things in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are far off upon the sea:

⁵ Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

²⁰ Blessed be God, which has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things. ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

¹² He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

²⁹ He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.

³¹ But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

²¹ Tell all of you, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

¹² And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, says the LORD.

¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit (o. pneuma) in the inner man;

¹³ I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

¹¹ Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things that that of Abel. ²⁵ See that all of you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven: ²⁶ Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. ²⁷ And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. ²⁸ Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: ²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.

¹⁶ And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?
