⁶ Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your loving kindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

²⁷ And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

⁹ And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which said unto me, Return unto your country, and to your kindred, and I will deal well with you:

¹³ You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.

⁶ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

⁴² O LORD God, turn not away the face of your anointed: remember the mercies of David your servant.

¹⁹ Yet you in your manifold mercies forsook them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way wherein they should go.

¹¹ Withhold not you your tender mercies from me, O LORD: let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

¹³ But as for me, my prayer is unto you, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of your mercy hear me, in the truth of your salvation.

¹⁶ Hear me, O LORD; for your loving kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of your tender mercies.

⁷ Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? ⁸ Is his mercy clean gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore? ⁹ Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. ¹⁰ And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. ¹¹ I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember your wonders of old. ¹² I will meditate also of all your work, and talk of your doings.

³ He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

⁴ Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;

¹⁷ But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

¹ Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

⁴⁵ And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

¹⁵ Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the sounding of your bowels and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?

²⁰ Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.

¹¹ The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD.

¹⁸ Who is a God like unto you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will return, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. ²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

⁵⁰ And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

⁵⁴ He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

⁷¹ That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; ⁷² To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

⁷⁸ Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high has visited us,

³ Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

⁸ For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

¹ If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, (o. agape) if any fellowship of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) if any bowels and mercies,

¹² Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

¹⁷ But whoso has this world's good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwells the love (o. agape) of God in him?
