¹⁷ I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?

⁵ Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

⁷ For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. ⁸ For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. ⁹ In order to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
