⁴⁰ And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto you. And he says, Master, say on.

³¹ And they come unto you as the people comes, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their covetousness.

⁶ A son honors his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? says the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And all of you say, Wherein have we despised your name?

²² Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

²² But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason all of you in your hearts?

³¹ And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

⁸ But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

²⁰ And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, (o. logos) that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. ²¹ And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that you say and teach rightly, neither accept you the person of any, but teach the way of God truly:

³⁰ Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: by this we believe that you came forth from God.
