⁴⁷ And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by you, and your brother that dwells by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by you, or to the stock of the stranger's family:

²⁶ And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

⁷ The LORD makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and lifts up. ⁸ He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he has set the world upon them.
