⁹ Have you an arm like God? or can you thunder with a voice like him?

⁶ Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.

⁴ He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?

⁶ Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.

¹² Behold, in this you are not just: I will answer you, that God is greater than man. ¹³ Why do you strive against him? for he gives not account of any of his matters.

⁴ After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. ⁵ God thunders marvellously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

³ The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.

³ My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue, ⁴ LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. ⁵ Behold, you have made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. ⁶ Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them. ⁷ And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you. ⁸ Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish. ⁹ I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.

¹⁰ You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; you have scattered your enemies with your strong arm.

¹³ You have a mighty arm: strong is your hand, and high is your right hand.

⁹ Woe unto him that strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashions it, What make you? or your work, He has no hands?

²² Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
