⁹ Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the embodiment of God.

²⁶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. ²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

⁹ Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

¹² To the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto you for ever.

¹ I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

²⁸ And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.

¹⁴ Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, you God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

⁸ Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

¹² For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

⁴ They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

⁴ Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.

²⁴ My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

¹ O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

¹⁷ As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. ¹⁸ As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

¹ I will extol you, my God, O king; and I will bless your name for ever and ever.

²¹ My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

²² For oftentimes also your own heart knows that you yourself likewise have cursed others.

¹³ Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
