⁹ As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that all of you have received, let him be accursed.

² All of you shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall all of you diminish ought from it, that all of you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

³² Whatsoever I command you, observe to do it: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

⁶ Add you not unto his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.

¹⁷ Now I plead to you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which all of you have learned; and avoid them.

¹⁷ When I therefore was thus minded, did I use levity? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

¹ This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word (o. rhema) be established. ² I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which in time past have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

¹ Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

¹⁸ For I testify unto every man that hears the words (o. logos) of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: ¹⁹ And if any man shall take away from the words (o. logos) of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
