²¹ You have neither part nor lot in this matter: (o. logos) for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

²⁵ For the LORD has made Jordan a border between us and you, all of you children of Reuben and children of Gad; all of you have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.

² And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

¹ The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

³⁶ Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues. ³⁷ For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant.

³ Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

⁴ Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

²² The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light. ²³ But if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness! ²⁴ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. All of you cannot serve God and mammon.

⁶ Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

¹⁹ And if any man shall take away from the words (o. logos) of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
