⁴⁸ And so return unto you with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto you toward their land, which you gave unto their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name:

²⁹ But if from thence you shall seek the LORD your God, you shall find him, if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.

⁵ And you shall love the LORD your God with all of your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. ⁶ And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:

¹⁵ And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do you unto us whatsoever seems good unto you; deliver us only, we pray you, this day. ¹⁶ And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

³ And Samuel spoke unto all the house of Israel, saying, If all of you do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines. ⁴ Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the LORD only.

²⁹ That your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, My name shall be there: that you may hearken unto the prayer which your servant shall make toward this place. ³⁰ And hearken you to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear you in heaven your dwelling place: and when you hear, forgive.

⁹ But if all of you turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

² Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

¹⁰ With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments.

¹⁴⁵ I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep your statutes.

²⁶ My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.

⁶ Seek all of you the LORD while he may be found, call all of you upon him while he is near: ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

¹² Then shall all of you call upon me, and all of you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. ¹³ And all of you shall seek me, and find me, when all of you shall search for me with all your heart. ¹⁴ And I will be found of you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

¹⁰ Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did in old times.

¹³ As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand your truth.

¹ O israel, return unto the LORD your God; for you have fallen by your iniquity. ² Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

⁴ Then I said, I am cast out of your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.

³⁶ And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what does hinder me to be baptized?

¹⁰ For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
