¹³ When Iesus cam in to the costes of the cite which is called Cesarea Philippi he axed his disciples sayinge: whom do men saye yt I the sonne of ma am? ¹⁴ They saide some saye yt thou arte Ihon Baptist some Helias some Ieremias or one of ye prophetes. ¹⁵ He sayde vnto the: but who saye ye yt I am? ¹⁶ Simo Peter answered and sayde: Thou arte Christ ye sonne of the lyvinge God.

⁷ And Iesus came and touched them and sayde: aryse and be not afrayed.

¹³ And no man ascendeth vp to heaven but he that came doune from heaven that is to saye the sonne of man which is in heaven.

¹⁶ For God so loveth the worlde yt he hath geven his only sonne that none that beleve in him shuld perisshe: but shuld have everlastinge lyfe.

⁶ And he bothe tremblynge and astonyed sayde: Lorde what wilt thou have me to do? And ye Lorde sayde vnto him: aryse and goo into the cite and it shalbe tolde the what thou shalt do.

²⁵ And the Lorde came doune in a cloude and spake vnto him ad toke of the sprete that was apon him ad put it apon the .lxx. elders. And as the spirite rested apon them they prophecied and did nought els. ²⁶ But there remayned .ij. of ye me in the hoste: the one called Eldad ad the other Medad. And the spirite rested apon them for they were of them that were written but they wet not out vnto the tabernacle: and they prophecied in the hoste.

¹¹ And they that dwell apon the erth shall reioyce over them and be glad and shall send gyftes one to another for these two prophetes vexed them yt dwelt on the erth.

¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregacion together before the rocke ad he sayed vnto the heare ye rebellyons must we fett you water out of this rocke?

¹³ And the Lorde was angrie with Israel and made them wandre in the wildernesse .xl. yere vntill all the generacion that had done euell in the syghte of the Lorde were consumed. ¹⁴ And beholde ye are rysen vp in youre fathers stede the encrease of synfull men to augmente the ferse wrath of the Lorde to Israel warde.

²⁴ Thus ye haue bene disobediet vnto the Lord, sence the daye that I knew you.

²⁷ Remebre thy servauntes Abraham, Isaac and Iacob and loke not vnto the stoburnesse of this people nor vnto their wekednesse and synne:

² And when the tyme was come he sent to the tennauntes a servaunt that he myght receave of the tenauntes of the frute of the vyneyarde. ³ And they caught him and bet him and sent him agayne emptye. ⁴ And moreoever he sent vnto them another servaunt and at him they cast stones and brake his heed and sent him agayne all to revyled. ⁵ And agayne he sent another and him they kylled: and many other beetynge some and kyllinge some.

⁴⁷ and that repentaunce and remission of synnes shuld be preached in his name amonge all nacions and must beginne at Ierusalem. ⁴⁸ And ye are witnesses of these thinges.

²¹ Then sayde Iesus to them agayne: peace be with you. As my father sent me even so sende I you. ²² And when he had sayde that he brethed on them and sayde vnto the: Receave ye holy goost.

⁵¹ Ye stiffenecked and of vncircumcised hertes and eares: ye have all wayes resisted the holy goost: as youre fathers dyd so do ye.

¹⁵ And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges. ¹⁶ Circumcyse therfore the foreskynne of youre hartes, and be no longer sciffnecked.

²⁷ I For knowe thi stubernesse and thi stiffe necke: beholde, while I am yet a lyue with you this daye, ye haue bene dishobedient vnto the Lorde: ad how moch moare after my deeth.

¹⁶ Beware of men for they shall deliver you vp to ye cousels and shall scourge you in their synagoges.

²⁶ Wherfore I take you to recorde this same daye that I am pure fro the bloude of all me. ²⁷ For I have kepte nothinge backe: but have shewed you all the counsell of God.

¹² And yf the housse be worthy youre peace shall come apon it. But yf it be not worthy youre peace shall retourne to you agayne. ¹³ And whosoever shall not receave you nor will heare youre preachynge: when ye departe oute of yt housse or that cite shake of the duste of youre fete. ¹⁴ Truly I say vnto you: it shalbe easier for the londe of zodoma and Gomorra in the daye of iudgement then for that cite. ¹⁵ Beholde I sende you forthe as shepe amoge wolves. Be ye therfore wyse as serpetes and innocent as doves.

¹⁰ But into whatsoever citie ye shall enter yf they receave you not goo youre wayes out into the stretes of ye same and saye: ¹¹ even the very dust which cleaveth on vs of your citie we wipe of agaynst you: Not withstondinge marke this that ye kyngdome of God was come nie vpon you. ¹² Ye and I saye vnto you: that it shalbe easier in that daye for Sodom then for yt cytie.

²² If I had not come and spoken vnto them they shulde not have had synne: but now have they nothinge to cloke their synne with all.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas wexed bolde and sayde: it was mete that the worde of God shulde fyrst have bene preached to you. But seinge ye put it from you and thinke youre selfes onworthy of everlastinge lyfe: lo we turne to the gentyls.

³ What then though some of them did not beleve? shall their vnbeleve make the promes of god with out effecte?

¹⁵ For we are vnto God the swete savoure of Christ both amoge them that are saved and also amoge them which perisshe. ¹⁶ To the one parte are we ye savoure of deeth vnto deeth. And vnto the other parte are we the savoure of lyfe vnto lyfe. And who is mete vnto these thinges? ¹⁷ For we are not as many are which choppe and chaunge with the worde of God: but even oute of purenes and by the power of God and in the sight of God so speake we in Christ.

²⁸ Are not two sparowes solde for a farthinge? And none of them dothe lyght on the grounde with out youre father.

¹⁹ Beholde I geve vnto you power to treade on serpetes and scorpions and over all maner power of the enimye and no thinge shall hurte you.

⁴ I saye vnto you my fredes: Be not afrayde of them that kyll the body and after that have no moare that they can do.

¹³ When they sawe the boldnes of Peter and Iohn and vnderstode that they were vnlerned men and laye people they marveyled and they knew them that they were with Iesu:

¹⁹ But Peter and Iohn answered vnto them and sayde: whether it be right in the syght of God to obeye you moare then God iudge ye.

²⁹ And now Lorde beholde their threatenynges and graunte vnto thy servauntes with all confidence to speake thy worde.

¹⁹ and for me that vttraunce maye be geve vnto me that I maye open my mouth boldly to vtter the secretes of the gospell

²⁸ and in nothynge fearinge youre adversaries: which is to them a token of perdicion and to you of salvacion and that of God.

⁷ For god hath not geven to vs the sprete of feare: but of power and of love and of sobrenes of mynde.

²⁷ By fayth he forsoke Egypt and feared not the fearcenes of the kynge. For he endured even as he had sene him which is invisible.

¹⁴ Not withstondynge happy are ye yf ye suffre for rightewesnessis sake. Ye and feare not though they seme terrible vnto you nether be troubled:

³ And there cam out of the smoke locustes vpo the erth: and vnto them was geve power as the scorpions of the erth have power. ⁴ And it hurt ye grasse of the erth: nether eny grene thinge: nether eny tree: but only those me which have not ye seale in their forhedes ⁵ and to the was comaunded yt they shulde not kyll the but yt they shulde be vexed v monethes and their payne was as the payne yt cometh of a scorpion whe he hath stoge a ma. ⁶ And in those dayes shall men seke deeth and shall not fynde it and shall desyre to dye and deeth shall flye fro the.

²⁰ Teachinge them to observe all thynges what soever I comcommaunded you. And lo I am with you all waye even vntyll the ende of the worlde.

³ Then Moses sayde vnto Aaro this is it that the Lorde spake saynge: I will be sanctifyed in them that come nye me, ad before all the people I wilbe glorifyed. And Aaron helde his pease.

¹⁴ Despyse not the gyfte that is in ye which was geven the thorow prophesye and with layinge on of ye hondes of an elder. ¹⁵ These thynges exercyse and geve thy silfe vnto them that it maye be sene how thou profetest in all thinges. ¹⁶ Take hede vnto thy silfe and vnto learnynge and continue therin. For if thou shalt so do thou shalt save thy silfe and them that heare the.

³ not as though ye were lordes over the parisshes: but that ye be a insample to the flocke.

⁹ And I went vnto the angell and sayde to him: geve me the lytle boke and he sayd vnto me: take it and eate it vp and it shall make thy belly bytter but it shalbe in thy mouth as swete as hony.

⁷ Then I sayde: Lo I come in the chefest of the boke it is written of me that I shuld doo thy will o god.

¹ And I sawe in the right honde of him that sat in ye trone a boke written with in and on the backside sealyd with vii. seales. ² And I sawe a stronge angell which cryed with a loude voyce: Who is worthy to open the boke and to loose the seales therof. ³ And no man in heven ner in erth nether vnder the erth was able to open the boke nether to loke thereon. ⁴ And I wepte moche because no man was founde worthy to open and to rede the boke nether to loke thereon. ⁵ And one of the elders sayde unto me: wepe not: Beholde a lion beinge of the tribe of Iuda the rote of Dauid hath obtayned to open the boke and to lose the vii. seales therof.

⁸ And the voyce which I herde from heven spake vnto me agayne and sayde: goo and take the lytle boke which ys open in the honde of the angell which stondeth apon the see and apon the erth. ⁹ And I went vnto the angell and sayde to him: geve me the lytle boke and he sayd vnto me: take it and eate it vp and it shall make thy belly bytter but it shalbe in thy mouth as swete as hony. ¹⁰ and I toke the lytle boke out of his honde and ate it vp and it was in my mouth as swete as hony and as sone as I had eate it my belly was bytter.

¹³ And I behelde and herd an angell flyinge thorowe the myddes of heven sayinge with a lowde voyce: Woo wo to the inhabiters of the erth because of the voyces to come of the trompe of the .iii. angells which were yet to blowe.

¹² One woo is past and beholde two wooes come after this.

¹⁴ And ye same houre was ther a gret erth quake and the tenthe parte of the cite fell and in the erth quake were slayne names of men seven .M. and the remnaunt were feared and gave glory to god of heven.
