¹⁹ Rejoice not over evil doers nor envy sinners.

²⁶ And he spoke to the congregation, saying, Separate yourselves from the tents of these wicked men, and touch not any of the things which belong to them, lest you be consumed with them in their sins.

¹ Happy the man, who hath not walked by the counsel of the wicked; nor stood in the way of sinners; nor sat in the seat of the scornful.

⁴ I did not sit with the council of vanity; nor can I go with them who transgress: ⁵ I hated the assembly of evil doers; and with the ungodly I cannot sit.

³ for I envied the unrighteous; when I saw the prosperity of sinners.

¹¹⁵ Away from me ye evil doers, for I will diligently seek the commandments of my God.

²⁰ By walking with the wise thou wilt be wise; but he who walketh with fools will be known.

¹⁷ Let not thy heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.

¹ My son, envy not bad men, nor desire to be with them:

¹⁷ therefore come out from among them and separate yourselves, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you,

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them:

² For the men will be selfish, avaricious, vain, haughty, addicted to slander, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, ³ void of natural affection, perfidious, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, destitute of love for goodness, ⁴ betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having a form of religion but denying the power of it. From such turn away;

⁴ And I heard another voice out of heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that you may not partake of her sins and that you may not receive of her punishments.
