³⁰ Now we know that thou knowest all things, and hast no need that any should ask thee questions. By this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

²⁰ For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all that he himself doth. And he will shew him greater works than these, that you may wonder.

¹⁷ Upon this some of his disciples said to one another, What is this which he saith to us, "A little while and you do not see me; and again a little while and you shall see me;" and, "because I am going to the Father."

²⁷ for the Father himself loveth you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. ²⁸ I came forth from the Father and am come into the world. Again I leave the world and am going to the Father.

⁸ Because I have given them the doctrines which thou gavest me, therefore they have received them, and know certainly that I came forth from thee; and believe that thou didst send me.

¹⁷ He saith to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved that he said to him, the third time, "Lovest thou me," and he said to him, Lord thou knowest all things. Thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith to him, Feed my sheep.

¹³ There is indeed no creature concealed from his sight. All things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
