⁹ Now a great number of the Jews knew that he was there, and had come, not on the account of Jesus only; but to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead;

⁴³ And having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, Come forth. ⁴⁴ Whereupon he who had been dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped in a napkin. Jesus saith to them, Loose him and let him go. ⁴⁵ Upon this many of the Jews who had come to Mary, when they saw what Jesus had done, believed in him.

¹⁰ and recollected that he was the man who used to sit begging at the Beauty-gate of the temple, they were filled with wonder and astonishment at what had happened to him. ¹¹ And while the lame man who was cured, kept hold of Peter and John, all the people in amaze crowded to them in the portico called Solomon's.

¹⁴ And seeing the man who was cured standing with them, they could make no reply.
