²⁰ In famine he will deliver thee from death, and in battle save thee from the edge of the sword.

⁷ so that God hath sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on the earth and to nourish your great remnant.

⁶ And the ravens brought him bread in the morning and flesh in the evening, and he drank water from the brook.

³ Though a host be drawn up against me, my heart will not be dismayed; though war rise up against me, still I exercise hope.

¹⁹ to deliver their souls from death; and to nourish them in a famine.

¹⁹ In time of troubles they shall not be shamed, and in days of famine they shall be plentifully fed.

⁷ A brother is not redeemed. Is a man to redeem himself?

¹⁷ Since the fig tree will not flourish, nor will there be fruit on the vines; the product of the olive will fail and the fields will supply no food; For want of food the flocks have failed, and there are no kine in the stalls;

⁶ As you will soon hear of wars and rumours of wars, see that you be not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet.
