²⁰ Then God said, "Let the waters produce moving creatures having life; and winged creatures flying above the earth in the open firmament of heaven." And it was so.

¹¹ In the six hundredth year of Noe's life, the second month and twenty seventh day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the abyss were burst open and the cataracts of heaven were opened, ¹² and there came rain on the earth forty days and forty nights.

⁷ He it is, who stretcheth out Boreas over empty space; who suspendeth the earth upon nothing; ⁸ who bindeth up water in his clouds; and the cloud under it is not rent;

¹³ The bars of heaven were terrified at him; and by a decree he doomed to death the apostate dragon.
