Deuteronomy 29:14 Cross References - Thomson

14 Now I make this covenant, and this oath, not with you only,

Jeremiah 31:31-34

31 Behold the days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Juda. 32 Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. Because they did not abide by this covenant of mine, therefore I took no care of them. 33 For this, saith the Lord, is my covenant which I will make with the house of Israel; after those days, saith the Lord, I will adapt my laws to their understanding and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall no more teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all will know me from the greatest to the least of them: for I will be merciful to their iniquities and no more remember their sins.

Hebrews 8:7-12

7 For if the first covenant had been faultless there would have been no occasion for a second 8 for finding fault with them he saith, "Behold days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and the house of Judah. 9 not such a covenant as I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt; because they did not abide by that covenant of mine, therefore I took no care of them, saith the Lord. 10 This is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel, After these days, saith the Lord, adapting my laws to their understanding I will write them on their hearts: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 11 And they shall no more teach, every one his neighbour, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me from the least to the greatest of them; 12 for I will be merciful to their iniquities, and no more remember their sins and their transgressions."
