⁷ But all have not this knowledge; and some, with the consciousness of regard for the idol, even to this time eat meat as sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

¹⁰ For if one seeth thee who hast knowledge seated at table in an idol temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat the idol sacrifice? ¹¹ And shall the weak brother, for whom Christ died, be destroyed for thy knowledge? ¹² When you sin thus against the brethren and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. ¹³ Wherefore if meat cause my brother to stumble, I will never eat flesh that I may not cause my brother to stumble.
