²⁵ And when they had brought materials for all the works of the service, then every woman skilled in spinning brought blue and purple and scar let and cotton thread;

¹⁷ David also gave a charge to all the chiefs of Israel to assist his son Solomon, saying, ¹⁸ Hath not the Lord been with you, and given you rest all around? For he hath delivered into your hands the inhabitants of this land, and the land is subdued before the Lord, and before his people.

¹³ and of the daily courses of the priests and the Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord; and of the depositories for the vessels used in the service of the house of the Lord;

³ With thee shall be the government; in the day of thy power; in the splendours of thy holies from the womb: before the morning star I begot thee.

¹ Let every soul be subject to the ruling powers; for there is no power but from God. The powers in being are arranged by God;

¹ Put them in mind to be subject to governments and authorities; to pay prompt obedience; to be ready for every good work;
