Has he not spoken also by us? And they three came out. ⁵ And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: And they both came forth. ⁶ And he said, "Hear now My words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make Myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream. ⁷ My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all my house. ⁸ With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? ⁹ And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed. ¹⁰ And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: And Aaron looked on Miriam, and behold, she was leprous. ¹¹ And Aaron said to Moses, "Alas, my lord, I beseech you, do not lay the sin on us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned. ¹² Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb. ¹³ And Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "Heal her now, O God, I beseech you. ¹⁴ And the LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again. ¹⁵ And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: And the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again. ¹⁶ And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.

³ And I will make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that you shall not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

³⁰ And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

¹ And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.' "

¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

²⁰ And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances. ²¹ And Miriam answered them, "Sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea."

¹ And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: And the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed those that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

²⁹ And Moses said to him, "Envy you for my sake? Would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit on them!

³ And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, "You take too much on you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: Why then lift you up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

²⁷ And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.

⁴ It may be the LORD your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD your God has heard: Why lift up your prayer for the remnant that are left.

⁷ Yet they say, "The LORD shall not see, nor shall the God of Jacob regard it." ⁸ Understand, you brutish among the people: And you fools, when will you be wise? ⁹ He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?

¹⁰ Only by pride comes contention: But with the well advised is wisdom.

⁴ It may be the LORD your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD your God has heard: Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.' "

¹² And you shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, 'They are laid desolate, they are given to us to consume.' ¹³ Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me, and have multiplied your words against Me: I have heard them."

⁴ For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of servants; and I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam before you.

³ For I say, through the grace given to me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, in accordance with how God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

¹⁰ Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;

³ Let nothing be done through strife or vain-glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.

¹⁴ Do all things without murmuring and disputing:

⁵ Likewise you younger ones, submit yourselves to the elder. Yes, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility: For "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

¹⁰ Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: And the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased. ¹¹ And Moses said to the LORD, Why have you afflicted your servant? And why have I not found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me? ¹² Have I conceived all this people? Have I begotten them, that you should say to me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nursing father bears the sucking child, to the land which you swore to their fathers? ¹³ From where should I have flesh to give to all this people? For they weep to me, saying, "Give us flesh, that we may eat. ¹⁴ I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. ¹⁵ And if you deal thus with me, kill me, I implore you, out of hand, if I have found favor in your sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? ¹¹ And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: And the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. ¹² And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because you believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

³² They also angered Him at the waters of strife, so that it went badly with Moses for their sakes: ³³ Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lips.

⁶ The LORD lifts up the meek: He casts the wicked down to the ground.

⁴ For the LORD takes pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.

⁵ Blessed are the meek: For they shall inherit the earth.

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: And you shall find rest for your souls.

⁵ "Tell the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting upon a donkey, and a colt the foal of a donkey.' "

¹ Now I, Paul, myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

⁵ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

³⁸ For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

²⁵ And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the spirit that was on him, and gave it to the seventy elders: And it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested on them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

⁷ He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar: They kept His testimonies, and the ordinance that He gave them.

¹ After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceedingly great reward."

²⁶ He sent Moses His servant; and Aaron whom He had chosen.

⁹ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, And more than a prophet.

¹¹ Truly I say to you, Among those that are born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist: But he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than him.

²² For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God shall raise up to you a Prophet similar to me from your brethren; you shall hear Him in all things, whatever He shall say to you. ²³ And it shall come to pass, that every soul who will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.'

³¹ When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: And as he drew near to observe it, the voice of the Lord came to him,

² Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.

¹⁵ But if I tarry long, I write that you may know how you yourselves ought to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

² Who was faithful to Him that appointed Him, as also Moses was faithful in all His house. ³ For this Man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is built by some man; but He that built all things is God. ⁵ And Moses truly was faithful in all His house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken afterwards; ⁶ but Christ as a Son over His own house; whose house we are, if we hold firm the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope steadfast to the end.

⁴ Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, and precious; ⁵ you also, as lively stones, are built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

⁴ You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel: And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in His clearness. ¹¹ And He did not lay His hand upon the nobles of the children of Israel: They also saw God, and ate and drank.

¹¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he returned back again into the camp: But his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart out of the tabernacle.

¹⁹ And He said, "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy."

²³ And I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back parts: But My face shall not be seen."

⁵ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. ⁶ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, "The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, to the third and to the fourth generation."

³⁰ And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.

¹⁴ And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: For they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

¹⁵ Take you therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire:

¹⁰ And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like to Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

¹⁵ As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Your likeness.

⁴ I will incline my ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

¹⁸ To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

⁵ To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be alike?

² "Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable to the house of Israel;

⁴⁹ Then I said, "Ah Lord GOD! They say of me, 'Does he not speak parables?' "

³⁵ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

¹⁶ He who hears you hears Me; he who despises you despises Me; and he who despises Me despises Him that sent Me."

¹⁸ No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

⁷ "If you had known Me, you should have known My Father also: And from this time forward you know Him, and have seen Him." ⁸ Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." ⁹ Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long a time, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He that has seen Me has seen the Father; therefore how come you say, 'Show us the Father'? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself: But the Father that dwells in Me, He does the works.

¹⁵ From this time forward I do not call you servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

²⁴ If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they would not have had sin: But now they have both seen and hated both Me and My Father.

¹² For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I also am known.

¹⁸ But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

⁴ In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. ⁵ For we do not preach about ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus' sake. ⁶ For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁵ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

⁸ Therefore he that despises, does not despise man, but God, who has also given to us His Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man has seen, nor can see: To whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.

³ Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

¹⁰ But especially those that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. They are presumptuous, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries.

⁸ Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise government, and speak evil of dignitaries.

²² And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

¹⁵ I will go and return to My place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek My face: In their affliction they will seek Me early."

⁶ And the LORD said furthermore to him, "Now put your hand into your bosom." And he put his hand into his bosom: And when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

⁷ And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it outside the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that everyone who sought the LORD went out to the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside the camp. ⁸ And it came to pass, when Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and every man stood at his tent door, and looked upon Moses, until he had gone into the tabernacle. ⁹ And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. ¹⁰ And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: And all the people rose up and worshiped, every man at his tent door.

² when a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests: ³ And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: And when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: And the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean. ⁴ If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and its hair be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague seven days: ⁵ And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: And behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more: ⁶ And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: And behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: It is but a scab: And he shall wash his clothes, and be clean. ⁷ But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he has been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again. ⁸ And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is a leprosy. ⁹ When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest; ¹⁰ and the priest shall see him: And behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising; ¹¹ it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: For he is unclean. ¹² And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that has the plague from his head even to his foot, wherever the priest looks; ¹³ then the priest shall consider: And behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: It is all turned white: He is clean. ¹⁴ But when raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean. ¹⁵ And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: For the raw flesh is unclean: It is a leprosy. ¹⁶ Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed to white, he shall come to the priest; ¹⁷ and the priest shall see him: And behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: He is clean. ¹⁸ The flesh also, in which, even in its skin, was a boil, and is healed, ¹⁹ and in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest; ²⁰ and if, when the priest sees it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and its hair be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil. ²¹ But if the priest look on it, and behold, there be no white hairs in it, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days: ²² And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is a plague. ²³ But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. ²⁴ Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burns have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white; ²⁵ then the priest shall look on it: And behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: Why the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is the plague of leprosy. ²⁶ But if the priest look on it, and behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days: ²⁷ And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: And if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is the plague of leprosy. ²⁸ And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: For it is an inflammation of the burning. ²⁹ If a man or woman have a plague on the head or the beard; ³⁰ then the priest shall see the plague: And behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is a dry scale, even a leprosy on the head or beard. ³¹ And if the priest look on the plague of the scale, and behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague of the scale seven days: ³² And on the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: And behold, if the scale spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scale be not in sight deeper than the skin; ³³ he shall be shaven, but the scale shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that has the scale seven days more: ³⁴ And on the seventh day the priest shall look on the scale: And behold, if the scale be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: And he shall wash his clothes, and be clean. ³⁵ But if the scale spread much in the skin after his cleansing; ³⁶ then the priest shall look on him: And behold, if the scale be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean. ³⁷ But if the scale be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up in it; the scale is healed, he is clean: And the priest shall pronounce him clean. ³⁸ If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots; ³⁹ then the priest shall look: And behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that grows in the skin; he is clean. ⁴⁰ And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean. ⁴¹ And he that has his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: Yet is he clean. ⁴² And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead. ⁴³ Then the priest shall look on it: And behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appears in the skin of the flesh; ⁴⁴ he is a leprous man, he is unclean: The priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head. ⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bore, and he shall put a covering on his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean. ⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: He shall dwell alone; outside the camp shall his habitation be.

⁹ Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam by the way, after that you were come forth out of Egypt.

²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall stick to you, and to your seed forever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

⁵ And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelled in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

¹⁹ Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: And while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. ²⁰ And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked on him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from there; yes, himself hurried also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. ²¹ And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelled in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: And Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

⁴ Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory. ⁵ And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.

¹⁸ Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims. ¹⁹ And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: When they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over above them.

¹² Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: Yes, woe also to them when I depart from them!

⁴¹ Then He shall say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

³² Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, "and be gone; and bless me also."

³⁰ For which reason the LORD God of Israel says, 'I said indeed that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me forever': But now the LORD says, 'Far be it from Me; for those that honor Me I will honor, and those that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

¹⁹ And all the people said to Samuel, "Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, that we do not die: For we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask for us a king."

²⁴ And Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned: For I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and your words: Because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. ²⁵ Now therefore, I implore you, pardon my sin, and return again with me, that I may worship the LORD."

¹⁹ and said to the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity to me, neither do you remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

¹⁰ And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said to the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: And now, I beseech you, O LORD, take away the iniquity of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.

⁶ And the king answered and said to the man of God, Entreat now the face of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God sought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

⁹ For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein you have done foolishly: Therefore from now on you shall have wars.

¹ A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your wrath: Neither chasten me in Your hot displeasure. ² For Your arrows stick fast in me, and Your hand presses me sore. ³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. ⁴ For my iniquities have gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. ⁵ My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

³² If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if you have thought evil, lay your hand upon your mouth.

² and said to Jeremiah the prophet, "We beseech you, let our supplication be accepted before you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, even for all this remnant; (for we are but a few left of many, as your eyes do behold us):

²⁴ Then Simon answered, and said, "Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken come upon me."

⁹ Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

¹⁶ Or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.

⁸ As a snail which melts, let every one of them pass away: Like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

⁴ I am counted with those that go down into the pit: I am as a man that has no strength: ⁵ Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom You remember no more: And they are cut off from Your hand.

⁸ And last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

¹ And you He has vivified, who were dead in trespasses and sins; ² in which you walked in time past according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: ³ Among whom we all also had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. ⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, through His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead in sins, has vivified us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved);

¹³ And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has vivified together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

⁶ But she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.

¹⁰ Now therefore let Me alone, that My wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: And I will make a great nation of you." ¹¹ And Moses entreated the LORD his God, and said, "LORD, why does Your wrath wax hot against Your people, which You have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?the LORD: In Hebrew, the face of the LORD ¹² Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, 'For mischief He brought them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth'? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against Your people. ¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self, and said to them, 'I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and I will give all this land that I have spoken of to your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.' " ¹⁴ And the LORD repented of the evil which He thought to do to His people.

² And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: And the whole congregation said to them, "Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would God we had died in this wilderness!

¹³ And Moses said to the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for you brought up this people in your might from among them); ¹⁴ And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: For they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night. ¹⁵ Now if you shall kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying, ¹⁶ because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness. ¹⁷ And now, I beseech you, let the power of my LORD be great, according to as you have spoken, saying, ¹⁸ the LORD is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation. ¹⁹ Pardon, I beseech you, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your mercy, and as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now. ²⁰ And the LORD said, "I have pardoned according to your word:

⁴¹ But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, "You have killed the people of the LORD.

⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a censer, and put fire in it from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly to the congregation, and make an atonement for them: For there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun. ⁴⁷ And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the middle of the congregation; and behold, the plague was begun among the people: And he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. ⁴⁸ And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. ⁴⁹ Now those that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside those that died about the matter of Korah. ⁵⁰ And Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: And the plague was stayed.

²³ Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: But I will teach you the good and the right way:

¹¹ "It repents Me that I have set up Saul to be king: For he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments." And it grieved Samuel; and he cried out to the LORD all night.

²⁶ Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of His people, and heals the stroke of their wound.

¹⁴ Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: For You are my praise.

⁴⁴ But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you; ⁴⁵ that you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: For He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

²⁸ bless those that curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you.

³⁴ Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." And they divided His clothes, and cast lots.

⁶⁰ Moreover he knelt down, and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not lay this sin upon their debt." And when he had said this, he died.

²¹ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

⁸ And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: And after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

² command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and everyone that has an issue, and whoever is defiled by the dead: ³ Both male and female shall you put out, outside the camp shall you put them; that they defile not their camps, in the middle whereof I dwell.

⁹ then shall his brother's wife come to him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, "So shall it be done to that man that will not build up his brother's house.

⁶ He has also made me a byword of the people; and formerly I was as a tabor.

¹⁰ They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

⁶ I gave My back to the smiters, and My cheeks to those who plucked off the hair: I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

⁶⁷ Then they spat in His face, and buffeted Him; and others smote Him with the palms of their hands,

⁹ Furthermore, we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: Should we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

²¹ And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. ²² And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. ²³ And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they did not see their father's nakedness.

¹² Honor your father and your mother: That your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.

⁸ Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: As I commanded them, so you shall observe to do. ⁹ Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam by the way, after that you were come forth out of Egypt.

³² But though He cause grief, yet He will have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light to me. ⁹ I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause, and executes judgment for me: He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.

² O LORD, I have heard Your speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.

²¹ And he dwelled in the wilderness of Paran: And his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

¹² And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

³⁵ And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah to Hazeroth; and stayed at Hazeroth.

³ And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: All those men were heads of the children of Israel.

²⁶ And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them, and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

¹⁸ And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

¹ And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

³ God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise.
