⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

² "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds; "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

²⁴ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

⁵² Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe which is instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old."

² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

²¹ His lord said to him, 'Well done, you good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: Enter into the joy of your lord.'

⁴¹ Then Peter said to Him, "Lord, do You speak this parable to us, or to all even?" ⁴² And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? ⁴³ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord shall find so doing when he comes.

¹⁰ He who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: And he who is unjust in the least is also unjust in much. ¹¹ Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? ¹² And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

¹⁷ And he said to him, 'Well done, good servant: Because you have been faithful in a very little, you have authority over ten cities.'

¹⁵ So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." ¹⁶ He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My sheep." ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock, among whom the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He has purchased with His own blood.

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk, and not with food: For until now you were not able to bear it, even now you still are not able.

¹ Let a man so account for us, as ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.

¹¹ And He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers; ¹² for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ¹³ Until we all come into the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

² And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁵ And Moses truly was faithful in all His house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken afterwards;

¹⁰ As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God gives: That in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹ I exhort the elders which are among you; I am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ² Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking on the oversight of it, not by compulsion, but willingly; not for filthy profit, but from a ready mind; ³ neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

¹³ "I know your works, and where you dwell, even where Satan's seat is: And you hold firmly My name, and have not denied My faith, even in those days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
