⁵ But they were all the more fierce, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place."

¹² Many bulls have compassed Me: Strong bulls of Bashan have beset Me around. ¹³ They gaped upon Me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

¹⁶ For dogs have compassed around Me: The assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me: They pierced My hands and My feet.

¹² Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee; ¹³ and leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, inside the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali: ¹⁴ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, ¹⁵ "The land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; ¹⁶ the people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to those that sat in the region and shadow of death, light has sprung up."

²³ Then Jesus went all around Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all sorts of disease among the people.

²⁴ When Pilate saw that he could prevail in nothing, but rather that a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Person: You see to it."

¹⁴ Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

¹⁴ Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: And a fame of Him went out through the region all around. ¹⁵ And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

⁵³ And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to quarrel against Him vehemently, and to provoke Him to speak of many things:

²³ But they were urgent with loud voices, requiring that He might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

⁴³ The following day Jesus went forth into Galilee, and found Philip, and said to him, "Follow Me."

³³ When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

⁵⁴ When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed upon him with their teeth.

⁵⁷ Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

³⁷ That word, I say, you know, which was published throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
