³⁰ For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

⁸ And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, byu which they have sinned, and by which they have transgressed against Me.

²⁵ Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: I will cleanse you from all your filthiness, and from all your idols. ²⁶ I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you: And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments, and do them.

²⁶ that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

¹³ For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh: ¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

¹ For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make those that come near perfect. ² For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because the worshipers, once purged, should have had no more conscious of sins.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. ⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
