¹⁴ Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: And put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve you the LORD.

¹ And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am the Almighty God; walk before Me, and be perfect.

⁵ Did he not say to me, 'She is my sister?' And she, even she herself said, 'He is my brother': In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this." ⁶ And God said to him in a dream, "Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart; for I also withheld you from sinning against Me: Therefore I did not permit you to touch her.

² Then Jacob said to his household, and to all that were with him, "Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

³ You shall have no other gods before Me. ⁴ You shall not make for yourself any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

⁷ And they shall no more offer their sacrifices to devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.

¹² And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹³ You shall be perfect with the LORD your God.

² And Joshua said to all the people, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelled on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: And they served other gods.

²³ Now therefore put away, he said, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel.

²⁴ Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: For consider what great things He has done for you.

³ I beseech you, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

¹¹ which you have commanded by your servants the prophets, saying, "The land, to which you go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.

¹ There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

²⁸ And to man he said, "Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

¹⁰ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: A good understanding have all those who do His commandments: His praise endures forever.

¹ ALEPH: Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

⁸⁰ Let my heart be sound in Your statutes; that I am not ashamed.

⁴ But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

⁷ Then I said to them, 'Let every man cast away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.' ⁸ But they rebelled against Me, and would not listen to Me: Every man did not cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: Then I said, 'I will pour out My fury upon them, to accomplish My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

¹⁸ But I said to their children in the wilderness, 'Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

³ And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: Their breasts were pressed there, and they bruised the teats of their virginity there.

⁵ Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

²⁵ Have you offered to Me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? ²⁶ But you have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun, your images, the star of your god, which you made for yourselves.

¹⁵ But that on the good ground are those, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: For the Father is seeking such to worship Him. ²⁴ God is a Spirit: And those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

³¹ Then the churches had rest throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplied.

¹² For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

¹⁰ that you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ;
