³ Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

⁴ Yet the LORD has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

²¹ 'Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; who have eyes, and do not see; who have ears, and do not hear:

¹⁸ For truly I say to you, Until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the law, until all is fulfilled.

¹¹ He answered and said to them, "Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. ¹² For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: But whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. ¹³ Therefore I speak to them in parables: Because seeing they do not see; and hearing they do not hear, neither do they understand. ¹⁴ And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, 'By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: ¹⁵ For this people's heart is waxed over, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.' ¹⁶ But blessed are your eyes, for they see: And your ears, for they hear.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah: For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in heaven.

⁵ And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it.

¹³ Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

⁵¹ And He said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, In time to come you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."

⁵ Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."

¹⁹ For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not "Yes and No", but in Him was "Yes." ²⁰ For all the promises of God are "Yes" in Him, and in Him "Amen", to the glory of God by us.

⁴ In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

¹⁷ Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: Old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.

¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

¹ And you He has vivified, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

⁵ not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, nor shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Of His own will He begot us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures.

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. ²⁴ For "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away: ²⁵ But the word of the LORD endures forever." And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.

²⁹ If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness is born of Him.

⁹ Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; for His seed remains in him: And he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

¹ Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: And everyone who loves Him that begot also loves him that is begotten of Him.

¹⁸ We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one does not touch him.

¹⁴ "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
