⁴ Let us choose to us judgment: Let us know among ourselves what is good.

³⁰ And it was so, that all that saw it said, "There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt to this day: Consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.

⁷ Behold, you are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel.

³⁶ My desire is that Job may be tried to the end because of his answers for wicked men.

² And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; ³ and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: And he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: ⁴ But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: And he shall smite the earth: With the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked. ⁵ And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

²⁴ Do not judge according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

² And do not be conformed to this world: But be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

² Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? ³ Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life? ⁴ If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, appoint those to judge who are least esteemed in the church. ⁵ I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, not even one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

¹¹ But when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. ¹² For before certain ones came from James, he ate with the Gentiles: But when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. ¹³ And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; so that even Barnabas was also carried away with their dissimulation. ¹⁴ But when I saw that they did not walk uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles, and not do as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as do Jews?
