¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, ² "This month shall be to you the beginning of months: It shall be the first month of the year to you. ³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, 'On the tenth day of this month they shall take to themselves, every man, a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house: ⁴ And if the household is too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man shall be counted according to his eating to allot the lamb. ⁵ Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: You shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: ⁶ And you shall care for it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. ⁷ And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, in which they shall eat it. ⁸ And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and they shall eat it with bitter herbs. ⁹ Do not eat of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with its entrails. ¹⁰ And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire. ¹¹ And in this manner you shall eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: It is the LORD's Passover. ¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt: I am the LORD. ¹³ And the blood shall be for a token sign to you upon the houses where you are: And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. ¹⁴ And this day shall be for a memorial to you; and you shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever. ¹⁵ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses: For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. ¹⁶ And on the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you. ¹⁷ And you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for on this same day I have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: Therefore you shall observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever. ¹⁸ In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at sunset, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at sunset. ¹⁹ Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses: For whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall even be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. ²⁰ You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread. ²¹ Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, "Draw out and take yourselves a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb. ²² And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. ²³ For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not permit the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you. ²⁴ And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever. ²⁵ And it shall come to pass, when you have come to the land which the LORD will give you, according to as He has promised, that you shall keep this service. ²⁶ And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, 'What do you mean by having this service?' ²⁷ That you shall say, 'It is the sacrifice of the LORD's Passover, Who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.' " And the people bowed the head and worshiped. ²⁸ And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. ²⁹ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of domestic beasts. ³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. ³¹ And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, "Rise up, and get yourselves out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as you have said. ³² Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, "and be gone; and bless me also." ³³ And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, "We are all dead men." ³⁴ And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. ³⁵ And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed from the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing: ³⁶ And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent to them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. ³⁷ And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. ³⁸ And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much domestic beasts. ³⁹ And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any food. ⁴⁰ Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelled in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. ⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the same day it came to pass, that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. ⁴² It is a night to be much observed to the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: This is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. ⁴³ And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "This is the ordinance of the Passover: No stranger shall eat of it: ⁴⁴ But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then he shall eat of it. ⁴⁵ A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat of it. ⁴⁶ It shall be eaten in one house; you shall not carry forth any of the flesh outside of the house; neither shall you break a bone of it. ⁴⁷ All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. ⁴⁸ And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: For no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. ⁴⁹ One law shall be to him that is home-born, And to the stranger that sojourns among you." ⁵⁰ Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. ⁵¹ And it came to pass the same day, that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

⁴ This day you came out in the month Abib.

¹⁵ You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it you came out from Egypt: And none shall appear before Me empty):

¹⁸ You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the time of the month Abib: For in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.

⁵ In the fourteenth day of the first month at sunset is the LORD's Passover.

¹⁶ And on the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of the LORD.

¹ Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God: For in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.

⁷ In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.

⁴ And Abel, he also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. And the LORD had respect to Abel and to his offering:

⁸ And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering": So they both went on together.

³⁰ And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

⁶ Therefore say to the children of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:

⁶ And you shall care for it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

¹⁵ And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry out to Me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward:

¹⁹ And they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear: But do not let God speak with us, lest we die."

² speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, If any man of you bring an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of the domestic beasts, even of the herd, and of the flock.

⁶ And he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, ² take you the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls; ³ from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: You and Aaron shall number them by their armies. ⁴ And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers. ⁵ And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: Of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur. ⁶ Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. ⁷ Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab. ⁸ Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar. ⁹ Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon. ¹⁰ Of the children of Joseph: Of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: Of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. ¹¹ Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni. ¹² Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. ¹³ Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran. ¹⁴ Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel. ¹⁵ Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan. ¹⁶ These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel. ¹⁷ And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names: ¹⁸ And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls. ¹⁹ As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai. ²⁰ And the children of Reuben, Israel's oldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ²¹ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred. ²² Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ²³ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred. ²⁴ Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ²⁵ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty. ²⁶ Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ²⁷ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were three score and fourteen thousand and six hundred. ²⁸ Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ²⁹ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred. ³⁰ Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ³¹ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred. ³² Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ³³ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred. ³⁴ Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ³⁵ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred. ³⁶ Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ³⁷ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. ³⁸ Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ³⁹ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were three score and two thousand and seven hundred. ⁴⁰ Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ⁴¹ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred. ⁴² Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; ⁴³ those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred. ⁴⁴ These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: Each one was for the house of his fathers. ⁴⁵ So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel; ⁴⁶ even all those that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty. ⁴⁷ But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them. ⁴⁸ For the LORD had spoken to Moses, saying, ⁴⁹ only you shall not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel: ⁵⁰ But you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: They shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp all around the tabernacle. ⁵¹ And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites shall take it down: And when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: And the stranger that comes near shall be put to death. ⁵² And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts. ⁵³ But the Levites shall pitch all around the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel: And the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony. ⁵⁴ And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.

¹¹ Thus shall it be done for one bull, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.

¹⁴ In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes: And it shall be, that the tribe which the LORD takes shall come according to its families; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man.

⁹ And Samuel took a suckling lamb, and offered it for a whole burnt offering to the LORD: And Samuel cried out to the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.

⁷ And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the Passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls: These were of the king's substance.

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.

³⁶ and looking upon Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold the Lamb of God!"

¹ Then, six days before the Passover Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom He raised from the dead.

¹² On the next day many people who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

⁷ Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

⁶ And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ Then He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne. ⁸ And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, every one of them having harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of saints. ⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ and have made us kings and priests to our God: And we shall reign on the earth." ¹¹ Then I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels all around the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing." ¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, "Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever."

⁹ After this I beheld, and lo, a large multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; ¹⁰ And cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb." ¹¹ And all the angels stood all around the throne, and around the elders and the four beasts, and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God, ¹² saying, "Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen." ¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And where did they come from?" ¹⁴ And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are those which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

³ If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: He shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.

¹⁰ And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

¹⁸ speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, Whatever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer to the LORD for a burnt offering; ¹⁹ you shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. ²⁰ But whatever has a blemish, that you shall not offer: For it shall not be acceptable for you. ²¹ And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish in it. ²² Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a running sore, or scurvy, or scabbed, you shall not offer these to the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to the LORD. ²³ Either a bull or a lamb that has anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that may you offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. ²⁴ You shall not offer to the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall you make any offering of it in your land.

¹² And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf a he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to the LORD.

¹ You shall not sacrifice to the LORD your God any bull, or sheep, in which is blemish, or any bad reputation: For that is an abomination to the LORD your God.

¹ Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

⁷ You all offer polluted bread upon My altar; and you all say, 'In what have we polluted You?' In that you all say, 'The table of the LORD is contemptible.' ⁸ And if you all offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And if you all offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it now to your governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept your person?", says the LORD of hosts.

¹⁴ "But cursed be the deceiver, which has in his flock a male, and vows, and sacrifices to the Lord a corrupt thing: For I am a great King", says the LORD of hosts, "and My name is frightening among the heathen."

²⁶ For such a High Priest suited us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹³ For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh: ¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

¹⁸ Consider that as you know you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

¹⁸ In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at sunset, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at sunset.

¹² "I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: Speak to them, saying, 'At sunset you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God.' "

¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, ² let the children of Israel also keep the Passover at his appointed season. ³ In the fourteenth day of this month, at sunset, you shall keep it in his appointed season: According to all the rites of it, and according to all its ceremonies, shall you keep it.

¹¹ The fourteenth day of the second month at sunset they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

¹⁸ In the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no manner of servile work in it:

¹ Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God: For in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night. ² You shall therefore sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there. ³ You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: That you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴ And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which you sacrificed the first day at sunset, remain all night until the morning. ⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which the LORD your God gives you: ⁶ But at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to place his name in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at sunset, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt.

¹⁵ Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: And the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD. ¹⁶ And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: The priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites. ¹⁷ For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: Therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the Passover lambs for everyone that was not clean, to sanctify them to the LORD. ¹⁸ For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the Passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "The good LORD pardon every one

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

²¹ In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

²⁰ But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

²⁵ Then all the people answered, and said, "His blood be on us, and on our children."

⁴⁶ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" That is to say, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" ⁴⁷ Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, "This Man calls for Elijah." ⁴⁸ And immediately one of them ran, took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave Him it to drink. ⁴⁹ The rest said, "Let Him be; let us see whether Elijah will come to save Him." ⁵⁰ Jesus, when He had cried out again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

¹ Then in the morning without delay, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, carried Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.

⁸ Then the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do like he had always done for them.

¹¹ But the chief priests stirred up the people, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them.

²⁵ Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.

³³ And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. ³⁴ Then at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which being interpreted is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

¹ Then the whole multitude of them arose, and led Him to Pilate.

¹⁸ But they cried out all at once, saying, "Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas":

²³ Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

¹⁴ But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted to you;

²⁷ "For truly against Your holy Child Jesus, whom You have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

²² And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. ²³ For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not permit the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

⁷ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;

²² And by the law almost all things are purged with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected forever those that are sanctified.

²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, shall he be thought worthy, who has tread underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has extreme malice toward the Spirit of grace?

²⁸ Through faith he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

² elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace, be multiplied.

¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: All their service, in which they made them serve, was with rigor.

³ And Moses said to the people, "Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: There shall be no leavened bread eaten.

⁷ Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall be no leavened bread seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters.

¹⁸ You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until the morning.sacrifice; or, feast

²⁵ You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the Passover be left to the morning.

¹¹ The fourteenth day of the second month at sunset they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ¹² They shall leave none of it to the morning, nor break any bone of it: According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.

³ You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: That you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴ And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which you sacrificed the first day at sunset, remain all night until the morning.

⁷ And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God shall choose: And you shall turn in the morning, and go to your tents.

¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief: When you shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

⁵ And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free will offerings by burning: For this you like, O you children of Israel", says the Lord GOD.this you like: In Hebrew, so you love

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: And they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

¹² Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

²⁶ And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

⁵² The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, "How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?" ⁵³ Then Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you have no life in you. ⁵⁴ Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵ For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. ⁵⁶ He who eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, dwells in Me, and I in him. ⁵⁷ As the living Father has sent Me, and I live by the Father: So he who eats Me, even he shall live by Me.

⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? ⁷ Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: ⁸ Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. ⁹ A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

⁶ And you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit:

⁸ And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and they shall eat it with bitter herbs.

¹³ From above He has sent fire into my bones, and it prevails against them: He has spread a net for my feet, He has turned me back: He has made me desolate and faint all the day long.

³⁴ And if any of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remains until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: It shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning. ¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offers his sacrifice: And on the next day also the remainder of it shall be eaten: ¹⁷ But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

³⁰ On the same day it shall be eaten up; you shall leave none of it until the next day: I am the LORD.

⁴ And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which you sacrificed the first day at sunset, remain all night until the morning. ⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which the LORD your God gives you:

¹³ And the blood shall be for a token sign to you upon the houses where you are: And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

²¹ Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, "Draw out and take yourselves a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.

²⁷ That you shall say, 'It is the sacrifice of the LORD's Passover, Who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.' " And the people bowed the head and worshiped.

⁴³ And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "This is the ordinance of the Passover: No stranger shall eat of it:

¹⁹ Then the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the Passover. ²⁰ Now when the evening had come, He sat down with the twelve.

³⁸ and stood at His feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head; and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the fragrant ointment.

³⁵ Let your loins be girded around, and your lights burning;

²² But the father said to his servants, 'Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

¹⁵ and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

¹³ Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

² And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, "I am the LORD:

⁴ And Moses said, "Thus says the LORD, 'About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt: ⁵ And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. ⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such that there has been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

²³ For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not permit the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

²⁹ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of domestic beasts. ³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

⁶ Then his master shall bring him to the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or to the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.

²⁸ You shall not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of your people.gods; or, judges

⁴ For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: On their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

³ And when those of Ashdod arose early on the next day, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

⁵ For this reason you shall make images of your hemorrhoids, and images of your mice that mar the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel: Perhaps He will lighten His hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

¹² And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

¹ A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods.

⁶ I have said, "You are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.

¹ The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

¹¹ I, even I, am the LORD; and besides Me there is no savior. ¹² I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you: Therefore you are My witnesses", says the LORD, that I am God. ¹³ Yes, before the day was, I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it? ¹⁴ Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. ¹⁵ I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

¹³ He shall also break the images of Bethshemesh, who is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians he shall burn with fire." ' "

¹⁶ But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen where they go; and they shall know that I am the LORD."

¹⁷ And there shall be wailing in all vineyards: For I will pass through you", says the LORD.

¹¹ The LORD will be terrible to them: For He will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship Him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

³⁴ Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods" '? ³⁵ If He called them gods, to whom the Word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

¹¹ And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token sign of the covenant between Me and you.

¹² Now therefore, I implore you, swear to me by the LORD, since I have showed you kindness, that you will also show kindness to my father's house, and give me a true token:

¹⁰ and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

¹ And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.' "

¹⁷ And you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for on this same day I have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: Therefore you shall observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever.

²⁴ And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.

⁹ And it shall be for a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: For with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt. ¹⁰ You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

⁴ These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons. ⁵ In the fourteenth day of the first month at sunset is the LORD's Passover.

⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance forever throughout your generations.

⁴⁰ To be a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: As the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

⁸ And the LORD spoke to Aaron, Behold, I also have given you the charge of my heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to you I have given them by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, by an ordinance forever.

¹¹ And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD your God has chosen to place his name there.

⁷ Then you shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over the Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.

²⁵ And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.

²¹ And the king commanded all the people, saying, "Keep the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant."

⁹ And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said to all the people, This day is holy to the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. ¹⁰ Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared: For this day is holy to our LORD: Neither be you sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. ¹¹ So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, "Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be you grieved. ¹² And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.

⁴ He has made His wonderful works to be remembered: The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

¹³ Your name, O LORD, endures forever; and Your memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

¹⁴ And you shall prepare a food offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of a hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a food offering continually by a perpetual ordinance to the LORD.

¹⁴ And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.

¹³ Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, there also shall be told what this woman has done, as a memorial of her."

¹⁹ And He took bread, gave thanks, and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you: Do this in remembrance of Me."

²³ For I have received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: ²⁴ And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, "Take, eat: This is My body, which is broken for you: Do this in remembrance of Me." ²⁵ In the same manner He also took the cup, when he had sipped, saying, "This cup is the new testament in My blood: This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." ²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you teach the Lord's death until He comes.

¹⁴ And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant."

¹⁹ Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses: For whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall even be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. ²⁰ You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.

⁶ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the LORD. ⁷ Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall be no leavened bread seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters. ⁸ And you shall show your son in that day, saying, 'This is done because of that which the LORD did to me when I came forth out of Egypt.'

¹⁴ You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you: Everyone that defiles it shall surely be put to death: For whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

¹⁰ And whatever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eats any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

¹⁴ For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for its life: Therefore I said to the children of Israel, You shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: For the life of all flesh is its blood: Whoever eats it shall be cut off.

¹³ But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and declines to keep the Passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: Because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

¹⁷ And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.

³ You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: That you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.

⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which the LORD your God gives you:

⁸ Six days you shall eat unleavened bread: And on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God: You shall do no work in it.

¹² The LORD will cut off the man that does this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offers an offering to the LORD of hosts.

¹ In the meantime, when there was an innumerable multitude of people gathered together, so that they trod upon one another, He began to say first of all to His disciples, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

³ And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the Days of Unleavened Bread.)

¹² I would even like that those which trouble you were cut off.

⁵ And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily."

²³ And he said to them, "This is that which the LORD has said, 'Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath to the LORD: Bake that which you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and that which remains over lay up for yourselves to be kept until the morning.' "

²⁹ See, because the LORD has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide, every man, in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day."

¹⁰ But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: In it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your domestic beasts, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

² Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD: Whoever does work on it shall be put to death. ³ You shall not kindle fire throughout your habitations upon the Sabbath day."

² speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. ³ Six days shall work be done: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no work in it: It is the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

²¹ And you shall proclaim on the same day, that it may be a holy convocation to you: You shall do no servile work in it: It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

²⁴ speak to the children of Israel, saying, "In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. ²⁵ You shall do no servile work in it: But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

²⁷ also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: It shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

³⁵ On the first day shall be a holy convocation: You shall do no servile work in it.

²⁵ And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work.

¹ And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: It is a day of blowing the trumpets to you.

¹² And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work, and you shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days:

²¹ Thus says the LORD; "Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; ²² neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, neither do any work, but hallow the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers." '

⁵ And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth My hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them."

⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the same day it came to pass, that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

⁸ And you shall show your son in that day, saying, 'This is done because of that which the LORD did to me when I came forth out of Egypt.'

¹⁶ And when we cried out to the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and has brought us forth out of Egypt: And behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border:

¹ And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, ² "This month shall be to you the beginning of months: It shall be the first month of the year to you.

¹⁵ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses: For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

¹⁶ And on the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of the LORD. ¹⁷ And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten. ¹⁸ In the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no manner of servile work in it: ¹⁹ But you shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering to the LORD; two young bulls, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: They shall be to you without blemish: ²⁰ And their food offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: Three tenth deals shall you offer for a bull, and two tenth deals for a ram; ²¹ A several tenth deal shall you offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs: ²² And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you. ²³ You shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering. ²⁴ After this manner you shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD: It shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering. ²⁵ And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work.

⁴⁸ And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: For no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

¹⁶ Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, 'The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, "I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, 'On the tenth day of this month they shall take to themselves, every man, a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house:

¹¹ And in this manner you shall eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: It is the LORD's Passover.

⁵ And the LORD said to Moses, "Go on before the people, and take some of the elders of Israel with you; and your rod, with which you smote the river, take it in your hand, and go.

⁷ And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

² let the children of Israel also keep the Passover at his appointed season. ³ In the fourteenth day of this month, at sunset, you shall keep it in his appointed season: According to all the rites of it, and according to all its ceremonies, shall you keep it. ⁴ And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover. ⁵ And they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at sunset in the wilderness of Sinai: According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

¹⁶ And the LORD said to Moses, "Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.

¹⁰ And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at sunset in the plains of Jericho.

¹⁵ Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: And the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD. ¹⁶ And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: The priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites. ¹⁷ For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: Therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the Passover lambs for everyone that was not clean, to sanctify them to the LORD.

⁵ And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brothers the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites. ⁶ So kill the Passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brothers, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

²⁰ For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the Passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.

¹⁷ Now on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, "Where would you like that we prepare for You to eat the Passover?" ¹⁸ And He said, "Go into the city to such a man, and say to him, 'The Master says, "My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples." ' " ¹⁹ Then the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the Passover.

¹² Then on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover, His disciples said to Him, "Where would you like that we go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" ¹³ And He sent forth two of His disciples, and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man shall meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. ¹⁴ And wherever he goes in, say to the goodman of the house, 'The Master says, "Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the Passover with My disciples?" ' ¹⁵ Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared: There make ready for us." ¹⁶ Then His disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them: And they made ready the Passover.

⁷ Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed. ⁸ And He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat." ⁹ And they said to Him, "Where would you like that we prepare?" ¹⁰ And He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered into the city, there a man shall meet you, carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in. ¹¹ Then you shall say to the goodman of the house, 'The Master says to you, "Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the Passover with My disciples?" ' ¹² And he shall show you a large upper room already furnished: There make ready." ¹³ Moreover they went and found it just as He had said to them: And they made ready the Passover.

⁴ and all drank the same spiritual drink: For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: And that Rock was Christ.

⁷ And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, in which they shall eat it.

⁶ As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: ⁷ And he shall sprinkle on him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

¹⁸ And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons that were there, and on him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

³⁰ And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

¹ Then truly the first covenant also had ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

¹⁹ For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt: I am the LORD. ¹³ And the blood shall be for a token sign to you upon the houses where you are: And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

¹⁶ And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: Stay now your hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing place of Araunah the Jebusite.

³⁶ Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty and five thousand: And when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

⁴ and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and who cry for all the abominations that are done in the midst of it."

⁶ Utterly slay old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: But do not come near any man on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." Then they began at the elderly men who were before the house.

¹⁰ Nor murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

³ saying, "Do not hurt the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."

⁴ And they were commanded that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.

⁸ And I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." ⁹ And God said to Abraham, "You shall therefore keep My covenant, you, and your seed after you in their generations. ¹⁰ This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your seed after you; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

¹⁴ And this day shall be for a memorial to you; and you shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

⁸ and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and a large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

¹⁷ And I have said, 'I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.' " '

⁵ Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the land where you go to possess it.

⁸ You shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatever is right in his own eyes. ⁹ For you are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God gives you.

⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which the LORD your God gives you: ⁶ But at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to place his name in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at sunset, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt. ⁷ And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God shall choose: And you shall turn in the morning, and go to your tents. ⁸ Six days you shall eat unleavened bread: And on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God: You shall do no work in it. ⁹ Seven weeks shall you number to you: Begin to number the seven weeks from such time as you begin to put the sickle to the grain.

¹⁰ And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at sunset in the plains of Jericho. ¹¹ And they ate of the old grain of the land on the next day after the Passover, unleavened cakes, and parched grain kernels in the same day. ¹² And the manna ceased on the next day after they had eaten of the old grain of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

⁴⁴ And gave them the lands of the heathen: And they inherited the labor of the people; ⁴⁵ that they might observe His statutes, and keep His laws. Praise the LORD.

² And that you may tell in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have worked in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am the LORD."

⁸ And you shall show your son in that day, saying, 'This is done because of that which the LORD did to me when I came forth out of Egypt.' ⁹ And it shall be for a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: For with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.

¹⁴ And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What is this?' That you shall say to him, 'By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: ¹⁵ And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens the womb, being males; but I redeem all the firstborn of my children.'

²² He did not take away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

⁷ And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the highway, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

¹⁹ And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the highway, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

⁷ Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.

⁶ That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, "What mean you by these stones? ⁷ Then you shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over the Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.

²¹ And he spoke to the children of Israel, saying, "When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, "What mean these stones? ²² Then you shall let your children know, saying, "Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. ²³ For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until you were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: ²⁴ That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: That you might fear the LORD your God forever.

³ Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. ⁴ We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done. ⁵ For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: ⁶ That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

⁴ One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.

¹⁹ The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do this day: The father shall make known Your truth to the children.

⁴ And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath: But bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

³¹ And the people believed: And when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.

⁸ And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.

² You shall therefore sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.

²⁰ And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshiped the LORD, and the king.

¹⁸ And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: And all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

³⁰ Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.

⁶ And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: And they bowed their heads, and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

²³ And I, Let My son go, that he may serve Me: And if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn." ' "

⁶ And the LORD did that thing on the next day, and all the domestic beasts of Egypt died: But not one of the domestic beasts of the children of Israel died.

⁴ And Moses said, "Thus says the LORD, 'About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt: ⁵ And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt: I am the LORD.

¹⁵ And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens the womb, being males; but I redeem all the firstborn of my children.'

¹³ because all the firstborn are Mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed to Me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: They shall be Mine: I am the LORD."

¹⁷ For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: On the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

²⁰ In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: And the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

⁵¹ and smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

³⁶ He also smote all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

⁸ Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

¹⁰ To Him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: For His mercy endures forever:

²² And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be visited.

¹⁴ The captive exile hastens that He may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.

⁶ Then they took Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: And they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: So Jeremiah sunk in the mire.

¹³ So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: And Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

¹¹ As for you also, by the blood of your covenant I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit in which there is no water.

² For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. ³ For when they shall say, "Peace and safety"; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

²³ to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such that there has been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

¹³ Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

⁶ And at midnight a cry was made, 'Behold, the bridegroom comes; go out to meet him.'

¹³ For he that has shown no mercy shall have judgment without mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment.

¹⁹ And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. ²⁰ And I will stretch out My hand, and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst: And after that he will let you go.

¹ Then the LORD said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh: For with a strong hand he shall let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land."

⁸ Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, "Entreat the LORD, that He may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice to the LORD."

⁹ And Moses said, "We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds we will go; for we must hold a feast to the LORD."

²⁹ And Moses said, "You have spoken well, I will not ever see your face again."

⁸ And all these, your servants, shall come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, 'Get out, you and all the people that follow you': And after that I will go out." And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

³⁸ Egypt was glad when they departed: For the fear of them had fallen upon them.

³⁴ And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with a great and exceedingly bitter cry, and said to his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father."

³⁸ And Esau said to his father, "Have you but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father." And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

²⁸ And Pharaoh said, "I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away: Entreat for me."

²⁸ Entreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer."

²⁶ Our domestic beasts shall also go with us; there shall not be one hoof left behind; for we must take of them to serve the LORD our God; and we do not know with what we must serve the LORD, until we come to that place."

³ But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, "Behold, you are but a dead man, for the woman which you have taken; for she is a man's wife.

¹ And the LORD said to Moses, "I will bring one more plague upon Pharaoh even still, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go from here: When he lets you go, he shall surely thrust you out from this place altogether.

¹² And the children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish. ¹³ Whoever comes anything near to the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: Shall we be consumed with dying?

³ And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and upon your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs:

¹⁴ and also I will judge that nation, whom they shall serve: And afterward they shall come out with great substance.

²¹ And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: And it shall come to pass, that, when you go, you shall not go empty. ²² But every woman shall borrow from her neighbor, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing: And you shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and you shall spoil the Egyptians."

² Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow from his neighbor, and every woman from her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold. ³ And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

³⁷ He also brought them forth with silver and gold: And there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

²¹ But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

³ And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

⁷ When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

⁹ Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those such as should be saved.

¹⁰ and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

² And I will make a great nation of you, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing:

⁵ And he brought him forth abroad, and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars, if you are able to number them": And He said to him, "So shall your seed be."

³ And he said, "I am God, the God of your father: Do not fear to go down into Egypt; for there I will make a great nation of you:

¹¹ And Joseph placed his father and his brothers, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

¹¹ Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

²⁶ A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for everyone that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men.1 Hebrew bekah of silver weighed ~0.25 troy oz, or ~7.8 grams; per Easton's Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Appendix VI.

⁴⁶ even all those that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

³² These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: All those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

²¹ And Moses said, "The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and you have said, "I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.

⁵¹ These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.

³ And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

⁵ And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

⁴ And the mixed multitude that was among them fell a lusting: And the children of Israel also wept again, and said, "Who shall give us flesh to eat?

²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, "We will go with you: For we have heard that God is with you."

³¹ And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, "Rise up, and get yourselves out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as you have said. ³² Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, "and be gone; and bless me also." ³³ And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, "We are all dead men."

¹ Now the LORD had said to Abram, "Get out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you: ² And I will make a great nation of you, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: ³ And I will bless those that bless you, and curse him that curses you: And in you all families of the earth shall be blessed."

¹³ And He said to Abram, "Know for sure that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

⁶ And God spoke in this manner, that his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and treat them evilly four hundred years.

¹⁷ The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with a powerful arm He brought them out of it.

¹⁶ Now the promises were made to Abraham and his seed. He does not say, "And to seeds", as of many; but as of one, "And to your seed", which is Christ. ¹⁷ And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before God in Christ, cannot be annulled by the law, which came four hundred and thirty years afterwards, that it should make the promise of no effect.

⁹ By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

¹⁰ Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."

⁴ But Pharaoh shall not hearken to you, that I may lay My hand upon Egypt, and bring forth My armies, and My people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

⁵¹ And it came to pass the same day, that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

¹⁴ And he said, "No; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said to him, "What said my Lord to his servant?

¹³ You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: For the time to favor her, yes, the set time has come,

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

⁸ You go up to this feast: I am not yet going up to this feast; for My time has not yet fully come."

⁷ And He said to them, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put under His own power.

¹⁰ You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

¹⁰ There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: A sojourner of the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

¹⁴ And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the Passover to the LORD; according to the ordinance of the Passover, and according to its manner, so shall he do: You shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

¹² because at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

¹² And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of your seed. ¹³ He that is born in your house, and he that is bought with your money, must necessarily be circumcised: And My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

²³ And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the same day, as God had said to him.

¹² They shall leave none of it to the morning, nor break any bone of it: According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.

²⁰ He keeps all his bones: Not one of them is broken.

³³ But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs:

³⁶ For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, "A bone of Him shall not be broken."

¹² For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: So also is Christ.

¹⁹ Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; ²⁰ and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone; ²¹ in whom all the building, being fitly framed together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord: ²² In whom you also are built together as a habitation of God through the Spirit.

¹² And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of your seed.

¹⁹ Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses: For whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall even be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

¹⁵ One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourns with you, an ordinance forever in your generations: As you are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. ¹⁶ One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourns with you.

⁹ Thus says the Lord GOD; "No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into My sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

²² And it shall come to pass, that you shall divide it by lot as an inheritance to yourselves, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: And they shall be to you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond-servant nor free, there is neither male nor female: For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹¹ Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond-servant nor free: But Christ is all, and in all.

²² You shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: For I am the LORD your God.

²⁹ You shall have one law for him that sins through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourns among them.

²⁶ These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, "Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies."

¹ Now therefore listen, O Israel, to the statutes and to the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers gives you. ² You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

³² What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: You shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

²⁴ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock: ²⁵ And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it did not fall: For it was founded upon a rock.

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." Amen.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

¹⁷ If you know these things, happy are you if you do them.

¹⁴ You are My friends, if you do whatever I command you.

¹⁵ For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and fabricates a lie.
