¹ In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: Then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. ² Daniel spoke and said, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea. ³ And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse from one another. ⁴ The first was a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. ⁵ And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth: And they said thus to it, 'Arise, devour much flesh.' ⁶ After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had four wings of a fowl upon its back; the beast also had four heads; and dominion was given to it. ⁷ After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and exceedingly strong; and it had great iron teeth: It devoured and broke in pieces, and stomped the residue with its feet: And it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. ⁸ I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. ⁹ I beheld until the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days sat, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. ¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came out from before Him: Thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: The judgment was set, and the books were opened. ¹¹ I then beheld because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld until the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. ¹² As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: Yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. ¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. ¹⁴ And there was dominion, and glory, and a kingdom given to Him, that all people, nations, and languages should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. ¹⁵ I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. ¹⁶ I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. ¹⁷ 'These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. ¹⁸ But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.' ¹⁹ Then I willed to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; ²⁰ and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. ²¹ I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; ²² until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. ²³ Thus he said, 'The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. ²⁴ And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: And another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. ²⁵ And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ²⁶ But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end. ²⁷ And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, Whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.' ²⁸ At this time is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my countenance changed in me: But I kept the matter in my heart."

¹ After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceedingly great reward."

² And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, "Jacob, Jacob." And he said, "Here I am."

⁶ And he said, "Hear now My words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make Myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream.

¹³ In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,

¹⁴ For God speaks once, yes twice, yet man perceives it not. ¹⁵ In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumberings on the bed; ¹⁶ then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

¹ Moreover the LORD said to me, "Take a great scroll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz."

⁸ Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:

²⁸ The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?" said the LORD.

⁷ And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land comes: And then many nations and great kings shall enservant him.

⁴ Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: And Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which He had spoken to him, on a scroll of a book.

¹ Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

¹⁷ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

¹ And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, with which his spirit was troubled, and his sleep broke from him.

²⁸ but there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, are these; ²⁹ as for you, O king, your thoughts came into your mind upon your bed, what should come to pass hereafter: And He that reveals secrets makes known to you what shall come to pass.

⁵ I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

¹ Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.

²² And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this;

³⁰ During that night Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans was slain.

⁷ After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and exceedingly strong; and it had great iron teeth: It devoured and broke in pieces, and stomped the residue with its feet: And it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.

¹⁵ I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

¹ In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, even to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.

²⁸ And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

⁷ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

² And the LORD answered me, and said, "Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that reads it.

¹⁷ 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: ¹⁸ And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out of My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy:

⁴ For whatever things were written beforehand were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

¹ Doubtless it is not expedient for me to make boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

¹⁹ Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

⁴ And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them."

¹ Then after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

¹⁵ And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

⁴ You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

³ And she brought up one of her whelps: It became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men. ⁴ The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt. ⁵ Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion. ⁶ And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men. ⁷ And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fullness of it, by the noise of his roaring. ⁸ Then the nations set against him from the provinces on every side, and spread their net over him: He was taken in their pit.

³² This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, ³³ his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

³⁷ You, O king, are a king of kings: For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. ³⁸ And wherever the children of men dwell, He has given the wild beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all. You are this head of gold. ³⁹ And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. ⁴⁰ And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: In as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: And as iron that breaks all these, it shall break in pieces and bruise.

¹⁷ 'These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

¹ And I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. ² In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; ³ and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled gray and reddish-brown horses. ⁴ Then I answered and said to the angel that talked with me, "What are these, my lord?" ⁵ And the angel answered and said to me, "These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. ⁶ The black horses which are in there go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the dappled gray go forth toward the south country." ⁷ And the reddish-brown went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: And he said, "Go from here, walk to and fro through the earth." So they walked to and fro through the earth. ⁸ Then he cried upon me, and spoke to me, saying, "Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted My Spirit in the north country."

¹ Then I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

⁴⁹ The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand;

²³ Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: They were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.

⁶ How much less man, that is a worm? And the son of man, which is a worm?

²⁰ Put them in fear, O LORD: That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

²⁸ Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind: ²⁹ Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: Yes, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

¹³ For you have said in your heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in uttermost sides of the north: ¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." ¹⁵ Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. ¹⁶ Those that see you shall narrowly look on you, and consider you, saying, "Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that shook kingdoms; ¹⁷ that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities of it; who did not open the house of his prisoners?"

⁷ The lion has come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he has gone forth from his place to make your land desolate; and your cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

¹³ Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! For we are spoiled."

⁹ behold, I will send and take all the families of the north', said the LORD, 'and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations all around, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations. ¹⁰ Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. ¹¹ And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. ¹² And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation', said the LORD, 'for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations. ¹³ And I will bring on that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. ¹⁴ For many nations and great kings shall reduce them to subjection also: And I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.' " ¹⁵ For thus says the LORD God of Israel to me; "Take the wine cup of this fury at My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it. ¹⁶ And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them." ¹⁷ Then I took the cup at the LORD's hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom the LORD had sent me: ¹⁸ To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and her kings, and her princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; ¹⁹ pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; ²⁰ and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod, ²¹ edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon, ²² and all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea, ²³ dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners, ²⁴ and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert, ²⁵ and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes, ²⁶ and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the face of the earth: And the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

³⁸ He has forsaken His covert, as the lion: For their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the Oppressor, and because of His fierce anger."

⁴⁰ For thus says the LORD; "Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.

³⁰ Therefore her young men shall fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day", said the LORD. ³¹ "Behold, I am against you, O you most proud", said the Lord GOD of hosts: "for your day has come, the time that I will visit you. ³² And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: And I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all around him."

¹⁹ Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of heaven: They pursued us upon the mountains, they laid in wait for us in the wilderness.

³ and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "A great eagle with great wings, long winged, full of feathers, which had various colors, came to Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:

² "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyrus, 'Thus says the Lord GOD; "Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, 'I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas'; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God:

⁹ Will you yet say before him who slays you, 'I am God?' But you shall be a man, and no God, in the hand of him who slays you.

³⁰ The king spoke, and said, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?" ³¹ While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, "O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; the kingdom has departed from you. ³² And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the wild beasts of the field: They shall make you to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He wills." ³³ The same hour the thing was fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: And he was driven from men, and ate grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

³⁶ At the same time my reason returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and brightness returned to me; and my counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me.

¹⁸ O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor: ¹⁹ And for the majesty that He gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: He slew whom he would, and he kept alive whom he would; and he set up whom he would; and he put down whom he would. ²⁰ But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was disposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: ²¹ And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys: They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; until he knew that the Most High God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that He appoints over it whomever He will. ²² And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this; ²³ but have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you, and your lords, your wives, and your concubines, have drunk wine from them; and have praised the gods of silver and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see, nor hear, nor know: And the God in Whose hand is your breath, and Whose are all your ways, you have not glorified:

⁶ For lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not their's. ⁷ They are terrible and dreadful: Their judgment and their dignity shall proceed from themselves. ⁸ Their horses are also swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: And their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from afar; they shall fly as the eagle that hastens to eat.

⁵ Yes also, because he transgresses by wine, he is a proud man, neither keeps at home, who enlarges his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathers to him all nations, and heaps to him all people: ⁶ Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, 'Woe to him that increases that which is not his! How long? And woe to him that lades himself with thick clay!'? ⁷ Shall they not rise up suddenly that will bite you, and awake that shall vex you, and you shall be for booty to them? ⁸ Because you have spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil you; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell in it. ⁹ Woe to him that covets an evil covetousness to establish his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! ¹⁰ You have consulted shame to establish your house by cutting off many people, and have sinned against your soul.

²⁸ For wherever the carcase is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

²⁴ And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

¹² Let a bear robbed of her cubs meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.

¹⁷ Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. ¹⁸ Their bows shall also dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

⁹ All you wild beasts of the field, come to devour, yes, all you beasts in the forest.

²¹ Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: Waste and utterly destroy after them", said the LORD, "and do according to all that I have commanded you. ²² A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction. ²³ How the hammer of the whole earth is cut asunder and broken! How Babylon has become a desolation among the nations! ²⁴ I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, O Babylon, and you were not aware: You are found, and also caught, because you have strived against the LORD. ²⁵ The LORD has opened His armory, and has brought forth the weapons of His indignation: For this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. ²⁶ Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: Cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: Let nothing be left of her. ²⁷ Slay all her bulls; let them go down to the slaughter: Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their visitation. ²⁸ The voice of those who flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of His temple. ²⁹ Call together the archers against Babylon: All you who bend the bow, camp against it all around; let none of them escape: Recompense her according to her work; according to all that she has done, do to her: For she has been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁷ "And, you son of man, thus says the Lord GOD; 'Speak to every feathered fowl, and to every wild beast of the field, "Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to My sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh, and drink blood. ¹⁸ You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatted calves of Bashan. ¹⁹ And you shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. ²⁰ Thus you shall be filled at My table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war" ', says the Lord GOD.

³⁹ And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

²⁸ PERES; your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians."

³ Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a ram stood there before the river which had two horns: And the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last. ⁴ I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

² And now I will show you the truth. Behold, there shall yet stand up three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than all of them: And by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

⁸ I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will tear the membrane of their heart, and I will devour them there like a lion: The wild beast shall tear them.

⁴ The first was a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

⁵ And as I was considering, behold, a he-goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and did not touch the ground: And the he-goat had a notable horn between his eyes. ⁶ And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran to him in the fury of his power. ⁷ And I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and broke his two horns: And there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: And there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. ⁸ Therefore the he-goat waxed very great: And when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and in its place came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

²⁰ The ram which you saw having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. ²¹ And the rough goat is the king of Greece: And the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. ²² Now that being broken, when in fact four stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

²⁰ Then he said, "Do you know why I come to you? And now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia: And when I have gone forth, lo, the prince of Greece shall come.

³ And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. ⁴ And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his descendants, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled: For his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides those. ⁵ And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. ⁶ And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: But she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: But she shall be given up, and those who brought her, and he who begat her, and he who strengthened her in these times. ⁷ But out of a branch of her roots one shall stand up in his estate, who shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: ⁸ And shall also carry captives into Egypt, their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. ⁹ So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land. ¹⁰ But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: And one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: Then he shall return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. ¹¹ And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: And he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. ¹² And when he has taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many tens of thousands: But he shall not be strengthened by it. ¹³ For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and after some years shall certainly come with a great army and with much riches. ¹⁴ And in those times there shall stand up many against the king of the south: Also the robbers of your people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. ¹⁵ So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: And the arms of the south shall not withstand, nor his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. ¹⁶ But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: And he shall stand in the glorious land, which shall be consumed by his hand. ¹⁷ He also shall set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus he shall do: And he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: But she shall not stand on his side, nor be for him. ¹⁸ After this he shall turn his face to the isles, and shall take many: But a prince on his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. ¹⁹ Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: But he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. ²⁰ Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: But within a few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

⁷ Therefore I will be to them as a lion: As a leopard by the pathway, I will observe them:

² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

⁴³ Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

⁴⁰ And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: In as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: And as iron that breaks all these, it shall break in pieces and bruise. ⁴¹ And whereas you saw the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it the strength of the iron, in as much as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay. ⁴² And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

² Daniel spoke and said, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea.

¹⁹ Then I willed to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; ²⁰ and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

²³ Thus he said, 'The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. ²⁴ And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: And another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

¹⁰ And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

⁷ And the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

¹² "And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

³ Do not talk so exceedingly proudly; let not arrogance proceed out of your mouth: For the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.

³ The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:

²⁰ and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. ²¹ I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; ²² until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. ²³ Thus he said, 'The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. ²⁴ And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: And another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. ²⁵ And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

⁹ And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceedingly great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. ¹⁰ And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. ¹¹ Yes, he magnified himself even to the Prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. ¹² And a host was given to him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.

²³ And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. ²⁴ And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: And he shall destroy in a manner that excites wonder, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. ²⁵ And through his policy he shall also cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

³⁶ And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the indignation is accomplished: For that which is determined shall be done.

⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as though he is God.

² For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

¹⁸ For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that had truly escaped from those who live in error.

¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

⁷ And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared to battle; and on their heads were things like crowns of gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue for forty-two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven.

¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. ¹² And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.

² Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

²⁴ I said, "O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days: Your years are throughout all generations. ²⁵ Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth: And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

² Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment: Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain: ³ Who lays the beams of His chambers in the waters: Who makes the clouds His chariot: Who walks upon the wings of the wind: ⁴ Who makes His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire:

⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given: And the government shall be upon His shoulder: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: It went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. ¹⁴ And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. ¹⁵ Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold a wheel was upon the earth by each of the living creatures, with his four faces. ¹⁶ The appearance of the wheels and their work was like the color of a beryl: And the four had one likeness: And their appearance and their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. ¹⁷ When they went, they went on their four sides: And they did not turn when they went. ¹⁸ As for their rims, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them. ¹⁹ And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: And when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. ²⁰ Wherever the spirit was to go, they went, for there was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up in front of them: For the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. ²¹ When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up in front of them: For the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

² And He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill your hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city." And he entered in my sight. ³ Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. ⁴ Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory. ⁵ And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks. ⁶ And it came to pass, that when He had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, "Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim"; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels. ⁷ And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims to the fire that was between the cherubims, and took of it, and put it into the hands of him who was clothed with linen: Who took it, and went out.

³⁴ You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. ³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, were broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. ⁴⁵ In as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass in time to come: And the dream is certain, and the interpretation of it sure."

²² until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

² "But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you He shall come forth to Me that is to be Ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."

¹² Are You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, You have ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, You have established them for correction.

² and was transfigured before them: And His face shined as the sun, and His clothes were white as the light.

³ Then His clothes became shining, exceedingly white as snow; such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, after the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

³³ Therefore being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.

²⁴ Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For He must reign, until He has put all enemies under His feet.

⁹ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

⁷ and to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those that do not know God, and that do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹⁶ who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach; whom no man has seen, nor can see: To whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.

⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which are now kept in store by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. ⁸ But, beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

⁵ This then is the message which we have heard from Him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

¹⁴ His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;

¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."

² And he said, "The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir to them; he shined forth from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: From his right hand went a fiery law for them.

¹⁹ And he said, "Hear you therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

³ Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.

¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

¹¹ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness of it. ¹² Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: Then all the trees of the woods shall rejoice ¹³ before the LORD: For He comes, for He comes to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.

² Clouds and darkness are all around Him: Righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne. ³ A fire goes before Him, and burns up His enemies all around.

²⁷ Behold, the name of the LORD comes from afar, burning with His anger, and the burden of it is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue like a devouring fire:

³³ For Tophet is ordained of old; yes, it is prepared for the king; He has made it deep and large: Its pile is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, kindles it.Tophet; or, Hell

¹⁵ For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. ¹⁶ For by fire and by His sword the LORD will plead with all flesh: And the slain of the LORD shall be many.

²⁶ But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.

⁵ The mountains quake at Him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at His presence, yes, the world, and all that dwell in it. ⁶ Who can stand before His indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him.abide: In Hebrew, stand up

⁵ "And you all shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal: Yes, you all shall flee, like you all fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah": And the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with You.

¹⁶ Then those that feared the LORD spoke to one another often: And the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name. ¹⁷ "And they shall be Mine", says the LORD of hosts, "in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him." ¹⁸ Then you all shall return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that does not serve Him.

³¹ When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He shall sit upon the throne of His glory:

²² But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

¹⁴ And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these people, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

¹¹ Then I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels all around the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead that were in them: And they were judged, every man according to their works. ¹⁴ Then death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵ And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

⁸ I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

²⁵ And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ²⁶ But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.

²⁵ And through his policy he shall also cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

⁴⁵ And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."

⁸ And then that Wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

⁸ Therefore her plagues shall come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: For strong is the Lord God Who judges her.

²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them: And I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

⁴ The first was a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. ⁵ And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth: And they said thus to it, 'Arise, devour much flesh.' ⁶ After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had four wings of a fowl upon its back; the beast also had four heads; and dominion was given to it.

⁷ And I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and broke his two horns: And there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: And there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

⁴ what is man, that You are mindful of him? And the son of man, that You visit him? ⁵ For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

⁵ God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. ¹⁸ You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive: You have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given: And the government shall be upon His shoulder: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹⁹ Behold, he shall come up from the swelling of Jordan like a lion against the habitation of the strong: But I will suddenly make him run away from her: And who is a chosen man, whom I may appoint over her? For who is like me? And who will appoint Me the time? And who is that shepherd who will stand before Me?

²⁶ And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

⁹ I beheld until the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days sat, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire.

⁴¹ The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those which do iniquity;

³⁰ And then the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven: And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to Him, "You have said it: Nevertheless I say to you all, in time to come you shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

²⁶ And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

⁶¹ But He held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" ⁶² And Jesus said, "I am: And you shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

²⁷ And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

³⁶ Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

¹³ And no man has ascended up to heaven, except He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven.

²⁷ and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

³⁴ The people answered Him, "We have heard out of the law that Christ abides forever: Therefore how come You say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?"

⁵⁶ and said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God."

²⁰ which He worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

⁶ Who, being in the form of God, did not count it robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.

¹⁴ Since then, as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

²⁴ For Christ has not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

⁷ Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and also those which pierced Him: And all tribes of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

¹³ and in the midst of the seven candlesticks One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and girded about the chest with a golden band.

¹⁸ I am He that lives, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

¹⁴ Then I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud One sat like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.

⁶ "Yet I have set My king upon My holy hill of Zion." ⁷ "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son; this day I have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession.

⁶ You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:

⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: The scepter of Your kingdom is a right scepter.

¹¹ Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him: All nations shall serve Him.

¹⁷ His name shall endure forever: His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in Him: All nations shall call Him blessed.

²² when the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

¹ A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool." ² The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion to: "Rule in the midst of Your enemies."

¹³ Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

¹⁰ The LORD shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. All you praise the LORD.

⁷ Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹² For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly ruined.

³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, were broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

⁴ Then a herald cried aloud, "To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

³ How great are His signs! And how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation."

²⁶ I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and stedfast forever, and His kingdom is that which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion shall even be to the end.

¹⁸ But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.'

²⁷ And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, Whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

²¹ And saviors shall come up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

⁷ and I will make her that limped a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: And the LORD shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever.

²⁷ All things are delivered to Me from My Father: And no man knows the Son, except the Father; neither does any man know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal Him.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth.

³³ And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

²² "All things are delivered to Me from My Father: And no man knows who the Son is, except the Father; and who the Father is, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son will reveal Him."

¹¹ Now as they heard these things, He added and spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. ¹² Therefore He said, "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.

²² For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son: ²³ That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father which sent Him. ²⁴ "Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears My word, and believes on Him that sent Me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death to life. ²⁵ Truly, truly, I say to you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: And those that hear shall live. ²⁶ For as the Father has life in Himself; so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself; ²⁷ and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.

²⁴ Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For He must reign, until He has put all enemies under His feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. ²⁷ For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says, "all things are put under Him", it is evident that He which put all things under Him is the exception. ²⁸ Moreover, when all things become subdued under Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

²⁰ which He worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: ²² And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church,

⁹ Therefore God has also highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

²⁸ Therefore, we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

²² Who has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject to Him.

²¹ To him that overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne."

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever."

¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: For He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: And those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful."

⁷ And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, "Why do you look so sad today?" ⁸ And they said to him, "We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it." And Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me them, I implore you."

⁸ And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men of it: And Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them to Pharaoh.

¹⁷ I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Your hand: For You have filled me with indignation. ¹⁸ Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will You be altogether as a liar to me, and like waters that fail?

¹⁶ As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow You: Neither have I desired the woeful day; You know: That which came out of my lips was right before You.

³ And the king said to them, "I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream."

¹⁹ Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spoke, and said, "Belteshazzar, do not let the dream, or the interpretation of it trouble you." Belteshazzar answered and said, "My lord, the dream be to those who hate you, and the interpretation of it to your enemies.

¹ In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: Then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

²⁸ At this time is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my countenance changed in me: But I kept the matter in my heart."

²⁷ And I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick for days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astounded at the vision, but none understood it.

¹⁶ When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: When he comes up to the people, he will invade them with his troops.

⁴¹ And when He drew near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, ⁴² saying, "If you had known, even you, at least in this day, the things which relate to your peace! But now they are hid from your eyes. ⁴³ For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall cast a trench around you, surround you, and keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ and shall level you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave one stone upon another in you; because you did not know the time of your visitation."

² that I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. ³ For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

¹⁴ knowing that shortly I must put off my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me.

⁹ So I went to the angel, and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make your belly bitter, but it shall be sweet as honey in your mouth." ¹⁰ Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was sweet as honey in my mouth: And as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. ¹¹ And he said to me, "You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came out from before Him: Thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: The judgment was set, and the books were opened.

¹³ Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said to that certain saint which spoke, "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?" ¹⁴ And he said to me, "To two thousand and three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed." ¹⁵ And it came to pass, when I, even I, Daniel, had seen the vision and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. ¹⁶ And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, "Gabriel, make this man understand the vision."

²² And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill and understanding.

⁵ then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: ⁶ His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet were like polished brass in color, and the voice of his words like the voices of a multitude.

¹¹ And he said to me, "O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright: For to you I am now sent." And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling. ¹² Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel: For from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.

⁵ Then I, Daniel, looked; and behold, there stood two others, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the one on that side of the bank of the river. ⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river: "How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?"

⁸ "I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him there were red horses, speckled, and white." ⁹ Then I said, "O my lord, what are these?" And the angel that talked with me said to me, "I will show you what these are." ¹⁰ And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These are those whom the LORD has sent to walk to and fro through the earth." ¹¹ And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, "We have walked to and fro through the earth, and behold, all the earth sits still, and is at rest."

³ And behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

⁷ "Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My ordinances, then you shall also judge My house, and shall also keep My courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.

⁵ Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep: Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals."

¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And where did they come from?" ¹⁴ And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are those which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁴ From men which are Your hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure: They are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

³ And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse from one another. ⁴ The first was a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

¹⁹ And he said, "Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the last end time of the indignation: For at the time appointed the end shall be.

³⁶ Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world: If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: But now My kingdom is not from here."

¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

¹⁶ In the place of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth.

⁵ Let the saints be joyful in glory: Let them sing aloud upon their beds. ⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; ⁷ to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; ⁸ to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; ⁹ to execute upon them the judgment written: All His saints have this honor. Praise the LORD, all of you.

¹² For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly ruined. ¹³ The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious. ¹⁴ Also the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

¹¹ It is a faithful saying: For if we are dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: ¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: If we deny Him, He will also deny us:

²⁶ And he that overcomes, and keeps My works to the end, to him I will give power over the nations: ²⁷ 'And He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter, they shall be broken to pieces: Even as I received from My Father.

¹⁰ and have made us kings and priests to our God: And we shall reign on the earth."

⁴⁰ And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: In as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: And as iron that breaks all these, it shall break in pieces and bruise. ⁴¹ And whereas you saw the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it the strength of the iron, in as much as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay. ⁴² And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. ⁴³ And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: But they shall not cleave to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

¹¹ I then beheld because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld until the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

²³ Thus he said, 'The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

⁹ And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceedingly great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. ¹⁰ And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. ¹¹ Yes, he magnified himself even to the Prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.

³⁶ And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the indignation is accomplished: For that which is determined shall be done. ³⁷ He shall not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: For he shall magnify himself above all.

¹² And a host was given to him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.

²⁴ And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: And he shall destroy in a manner that excites wonder, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

³¹ And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.

⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him that lives forever that "it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he has accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."

⁷ And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. ⁸ And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹ And those of the people, tribes, tongues, and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not let their dead bodies to be put in graves.

³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. ⁴ And his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue for forty-two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. ⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: And power was given to him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If any man has an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: He that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. ¹² And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ¹⁴ and deceives those that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and lived. ¹⁵ And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond-servants, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: For it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred and sixty-six.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.

⁴ For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.

⁹ I beheld until the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days sat, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. ¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came out from before Him: Thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: The judgment was set, and the books were opened. ¹¹ I then beheld because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld until the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

²⁸ And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you, That in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me shall also sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁹ And I appoint to you a kingdom, as My Father has appointed to Me; ³⁰ that all of you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."all of you: In KJV, ye; hence "all of you" signifies a plural "you"

² Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? ³ Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life?

⁶ and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹¹ Then after three and a half days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them. ¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. ¹³ And the same hour there was a strong earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain: And the remnant were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven. ¹⁴ The second woe is past; and behold, the third woe is coming quickly. ¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever." ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God, ¹⁷ saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which is, and was, and is to come; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned. ¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and those that fear Your name, small and great; and should destroy those which destroy the earth."

⁸ And there followed another angel, saying, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." ⁹ Then the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, ¹⁰ the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: And they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." ¹² Here is the patience of the saints: Here are those that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ¹³ Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from this time forward' ": "Yes", says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them." ¹⁴ Then I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud One sat like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle, and reap: For the time has come for You to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe." ¹⁶ Then He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. ¹⁷ Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. ¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried out with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe." ¹⁹ Then the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the large winepress of the wrath of God. ²⁰ And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even up to the horse bridles, for the distance of one thousand and six hundred furlongs.1600 furlongs is approximately 200 miles or 322 kilometers.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but he Himself. ¹³ And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: And His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: And He shall rule them with a rod of iron: And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

⁹ And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed all around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city: And fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. ¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

⁴⁰ And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: In as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: And as iron that breaks all these, it shall break in pieces and bruise.

¹ And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

²⁰ and of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: For that Day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as though he is God. ⁵ Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? ⁶ And now you know what withholds, that he might be revealed in his time. ⁷ For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: Only He who now holds back will impede, until He be taken out of the way. ⁸ And then that Wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: ⁹ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in those that perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

¹ Now the Spirit expressly speaks, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ² speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; ³ forbidding to marry; and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

³ So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness: And I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

¹² "And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. ¹³ These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength to the beast.

¹⁶ And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. ¹⁷ For God has put in their hearts to fulfill His will, and to agree, and give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. ¹⁸ And the woman which you saw is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth."

²³ Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? And against whom have you exalted your voice, and lifted up your eyes on high? Even against the Holy One of Israel.

²¹ And He changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those that know understanding:

²⁵ That they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the wild beasts of the field, and they shall make you to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will.

²⁸ Then he shall return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

³⁰ For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: Therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: So he shall do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsakes the holy covenant. ³¹ And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.

³⁶ And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the indignation is accomplished: For that which is determined shall be done. ³⁷ He shall not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: For he shall magnify himself above all. ³⁸ But in his estate he shall honor the god of forces: And a god whom his fathers did not know shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ¹² Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

⁹ And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held: ¹⁰ And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You not judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the earth?"

² But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it; for it is given to the Gentiles: And they shall tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. ³ And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

⁷ And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. ⁸ And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹ And those of the people, tribes, tongues, and nations shall see their dead bodies three and a half days, and shall not let their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰ And those that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another; because these two prophets tormented those that dwelt on the earth.

⁶ Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

¹⁴ But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given to him to continue for forty-two months. ⁶ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. ⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: And power was given to him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If any man has an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: He that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ Then I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

¹⁵ And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond-servants, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints: Here are those that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy of such."

²⁴ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."

¹³ And the same hour there was a strong earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain: And the remnant were frightened, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. ¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

⁶ "Yet I have set My king upon My holy hill of Zion." ⁷ "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son; this day I have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession. ⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.' " ¹⁰ Be wise now therefore, O you kings: Be instructed, you judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and all you perish from pursuing the way, when His wrath is kindled only a little. Blessed are all those that put their trust in Him.

²⁷ All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD: And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before You.

⁹ All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O LORD; and shall glorify Your name.

²³ And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: They shall bow down to you with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD: For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me." ²⁴ Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? ²⁵ But thus says the LORD, "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. ²⁶ And I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: And all flesh shall know that I the LORD am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob."

³ for you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

¹¹ Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring to you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. ¹² For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly ruined. ¹³ The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious. ¹⁴ Also the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. ¹⁵ Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. ¹⁶ You shall also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: And you shall know that I the LORD am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

³⁴ And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored Him that lives forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation:

¹⁴ And there was dominion, and glory, and a kingdom given to Him, that all people, nations, and languages should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

¹⁹ Behold, at that time I will undo all those that afflict you: And I will save her that limps, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. ²⁰ At that time I will bring you back again, even in the time that I gather you: For I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes", says the LORD.

⁹ And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: In that day there shall be one LORD, and His name one.

¹⁶ And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

⁵ And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: And they shall reign forever and ever.

¹⁰ And he told it to his father, and to his brothers: And his father rebuked him, and said to him, "What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves down to the earth before you?"

⁶ Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosened, and his knees knocked against one another.

¹⁷ So he came near where I stood: And when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: But he said to me, "Understand, O son of man: For at the time of the end shall be the vision."

¹⁹ And he said, "Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the last end time of the indignation: For at the time appointed the end shall be.

⁸ Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: For my becoming manner was turned into corruption in me, and I retained no strength.

²⁷ And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies to each other at one table; but it shall not prosper: For the end shall still be at the time appointed.

⁹ And he said, "Go your way, Daniel: For the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

¹³ But you, go your way till the end be: For you shall rest, and stand in your lot at the end of the days."

¹⁵ And when all the people beheld Him, immediately they were greatly amazed, and while running to Him saluted Him.

¹⁹ But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

⁵¹ Then He went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them: But His mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

⁴⁴ "Let these sayings sink down into your ears: For the Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men."
