¹¹ Then they bribed men who said, We heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God. ¹² And they stirred up both the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and coming suddenly they seized him and led him to the Sanhedrim, ¹³ and brought forward false witnesses who said, This man speaks incessantly against this holy place, and the law;

¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the gentiles that they may be saved, that they may fill up their sins always; and the wrath has come on them to the utmost.
