^{4 (2:2)} You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

²⁸ and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish nor shall any one pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father who gave [them] to me is greater than all, and no one can pluck them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.

³¹ There is now a judgment of this world; the ruler of this world shall now be cast out;

¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot receive, because it beholds it not nor knows it; but you know it, because it continues with you, and shall be in you. ¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. ¹⁹ Yet a little while and the world beholds me no more; but you shall behold me; because I live, you shall live also. ²⁰ In that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. ²¹ He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. ^{22 (16:9)} Judas said to him, not the Iscariot, Lord, and how is it that you are about to manifest yourself to us, and not to the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If any one loves me he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our mansion with him.

³⁰ I will not speak with you much more; for the ruler of this world comes and has nothing in me;

¹¹ and of judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

²³ I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the spirit is life on account of righteousness. ¹¹ And if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised Christ from the dead shall make alive your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.

^{31 (6:5)} What shall we say then to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer, through him who loved us.

¹² And we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we may know the things given us by God,

¹³ Food for the stomach, and the stomach for food; but God will destroy both it and them. And the body is not for fornication but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body;

⁴ in whom the god of this life has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God, may not shine.

¹⁶ and what agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God; as God said, I will dwell in them, and I will walk in them, and I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people.

² in which you formerly walked according to the life of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit which now operates in the children of disobedience,

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through the faith, you being founded and established in love,

¹² for our conflict is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the potentates of the darkness of this world, against the spiritual [hosts] of evil in the heavenly [worlds]. ¹³ Take therefore the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all to stand.

¹³ I write to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I wrote to you, little children, because you have known the Father.

⁹ No one that has been born of God commits sin, for his seed continues in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. ¹⁰ By this are the children of God manifest, and the children of the devil; no one that does not righteousness is of God, and no one that loves not his brother.

²⁴ And he that keeps his commandments continues in him and he in him; and by this we know that he continues in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

⁶ We are of God; he that knows God hears us, he that is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

¹³ By this we know that we continue in him and he in us, that he has given us of his Spirit.

¹⁶ And we have known and believed the love which God has for us. God is love; and he that continues in love continues in God and God in him.

⁴ for every child that has been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory which overcomes the world, our faith.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.

¹¹ And they conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and exposed their lives to death.
