⁴ and they came out––they, and all their hosts with them, much people, like the sand that is upon the seashore for multitude,––with horses and chariots very many.

¹⁷ That I will, richly bless, thee, and, abundantly multiply, thy seed, as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the lip of the sea,––that thy seed may take possession of the gate of his foes:

¹² But, thou thyself, saidst,––I will, deal well, with thee,––So will I make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which is not to be counted, for multitude.

¹² Now, the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the sons of the east, were lying along in the vale, like locusts for multitude,––their camels also, were without number, as the sand that is by the sea side, for multitude.
