¹¹ and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain,––then shall the boundary go down, and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:

⁶ So the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua, unto the camp at Gilgal, saying, Do not withhold thy hand from thy servants,––Come up unto us quickly, and save us, and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill–country, are gathered together against us.

²⁷ and in the valley––Beth–haram and Beth–nimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and district,––as far as the end of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan eastward.

¹¹ And Manasseh had––in Issachar and in Asher––Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of En–dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo, and her towns––the three heights,

²⁷ But Manasseh took not possession of Beth–shean and her towns, nor of Taanach and her towns, nor dispossessed the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam, and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo, and her towns,––but the Canaanites were determined to remain in this land;
