² And the spirit of Yahweh shall rest, upon him,––The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge, and reverence of Yahweh;

²⁵ Then Yahweh, came down, in the cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave unto the seventy men––the elders. And it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and then did so no more. ²⁶ Now there were two men left behind in the camp––the name of the one, was Eldad, and, the name of the other, Medad, so then the spirit, rested on them––they, being among them who were written, though they had not gone forth unto the tent,––but they prophesied in the camp.

⁹ But, Joshua, son of Nun, was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him,––so the sons of Israel hearkened unto him, and did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

¹ Lo! my Servant, I will uphold him, My chosen, well–pleased, is my soul,––I have put my spirit upon him, Justice––to the nations, will he bring forth:

¹⁶ Draw ye near unto me––hear ye this, Not in advance, in secret, have I spoken, From the very time it cometh into being, there, am I,––And, now, My Lord Yahweh hath sent me, and his spirit.

²¹ And, as for me, this, shall be my covenant with them, Saith Yahweh: My spirit that is upon thee, And my words which I have put in thy mouth,––Shall not be taken out of thy mouth––Nor out of the mouth of thy seed, Nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, Saith Yahweh, From henceforth even unto times age–abiding.

¹ The spirit of My Lord Yahweh, is upon me,––Because Yahweh, Hath anointed me, to tell good tidings to the oppressed, Hath sent me to bind up the broken–hearted, To proclaim, To captives, liberty, To them who are bound, the opening of the prison;

¹⁶ And Jesus, having been immersed, straightway, went up from the water,––and lo! the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God, descending like a dove coming upon him;

³² And John bare witness, saying––I have gazed upon the Spirit, descending like a dove, out of heaven,––and it abode upon him. ³³ And, I, knew him not,––but, he that sent me to immerse in water, he, unto me, said––Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding upon him, the same, is he that immerseth in Holy Spirit.

³⁴ For, he whom God hath sent, the sayings of God, doth speak; for, not by measure, giveth he the Spirit.

¹⁷ The Spirit of truth,––which, the world, cannot receive, because it beholdeth it not, nor getteth to know it. But, ye, are getting to know it; because, with you, it abideth, and, in you, it is.

²⁶ Whensoever the Advocate shall come, Whom, I, will send unto you from the Father, The Spirit of truth, which, from the Father, cometh forth, He, will bear witness concerning me;

¹³ Howbeit, as soon as, he, hath come––The Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak from himself, but, whatsoever he heareth, he will speak, and, the coming things, will he announce unto you.

³⁸ How God anointed him with Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the adversary, because, God, was with him.

³⁰ But, of him, are, ye, in Christ Jesus, who hath been made wisdom unto us, from God,––both righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

¹⁷ That, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you a Spirit of wisdom and understanding in gaining a personal knowledge of him,–– ¹⁸ The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that ye may know––what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

⁸ Who also hath made evident unto us your love in spirit.
⁹ For this cause, we also, from the day when we heard [of you], cease not, in your behalf, praying and asking––that ye may be filled unto the personal knowledge of his will, in all spiritual wisdom and discernment,

² In order that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, even unto all the riches of the full assurance of their understanding, unto a personal knowledge of the sacred secret of God,––Christ: ³ In whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden away.

⁷ For God hath not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and love, and correction.

¹⁷ But, the wisdom from above, is––first pure, then peaceable, reasonable, easy to be entreated, fraught with mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy. ¹⁸ And, in harvest of righteousness, with peace, is sown by them that make peace.
