¹⁴ And Joseph, sending forth, called for Jacob his father, and all the kindred, consisting of seventy–five souls;

⁹ Haste ye, and go up unto my father, then shall ye say unto him––Thus, saith thy son Joseph, God hath appointed me lord to all Egypt,––come down unto me, do not delay; ¹⁰ so shalt thou dwell in the land of Goshen, and shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy sons, and thy sons’ sons,––and thy flocks and thy herds, and all that is thine; ¹¹ so will I sustain thee, there, for there are yet five years, of famine,––lest thou come to poverty––thou, and thy house, and all who are thine.

¹² And, the sons of Judah,––Er and Onan and Shelah, and Perez and Zerah,––but Er and Onan died, in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul;

²⁶ All the souls that came in with Jacob to Egypt, that had come forth of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives,––all the souls, were sixty–six; ²⁷ and, the sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls: All the souls of the house of Jacob that came into Egypt, were seventy.

⁵ And it came to pass that, all the persons who were descended from Jacob, were seventy souls,––but, Joseph, was already in Egypt.

²² As seventy souls, went thy fathers down to Egypt,––and, now, Yahweh thy God hath made thee like the stars of the heavens, for multitude.

⁵ The sons of Perez, Hezron and Hamul. ⁶ And, the sons of Zerah, Zimri and Ethan, and Heman and Calcol and Dara, all of them, five.
