¹⁸ And, all his servants, were passing on beside him, and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, ––and, all the Gittites––six hundred men, who had accompanied him from Gath,––were passing on before the king.

So Ittai the Gittite passed on, with all his men, and all the little ones that were with him.

² And David sent forth the people––a third part, under the hand of Joab, and, a third part, under the hand of Abishai son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, and, a third part, under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. Then said the king, unto the people, I myself, will, surely go forth, with you.

⁷ Then went out after him––the men of Joab, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men,––and they went out from Jerusalem, to pursue Sheba son of Bichri.

²³ And, Joab, was [restored] unto all the army of Israel,––And, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, was over the Cherethites and over the Pelethites,

³⁸ So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah son of Jehoiada, with the Cherethites and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon the mule of King David,––and they escorted him to Gihon.

¹⁷ and, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, was over the Cherethites, and the Pelethites,––and, the sons of David, were first, in attendance on the king.
