²¹ in order that as sin reigned in death grace might reign through righteousness and issue in life eternal through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁶ Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as servants intending obedience, you are the servants of the one you obey, whether of sin, resulting in death, or of obedience, resulting in righteousness?

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is life eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁰ If Christ is in you the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

¹¹ For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all men,

¹⁶ Therefore let us come with confidence to the throne of grace and receive compassion and find grace for timely help.

¹⁰ The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little will equip, establish and strengthen you.

²⁵ And this is the promise that he has promised us — the life eternal.

¹¹ This is the testimony: that God has given to us life eternal and this life is in his Son. ¹² He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life. ¹³ I am writing this to you so that you may know that you have life eternal, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.
