¹² and said, 'These last worked one hour and you have made them equal to us who bore the burden of the day and the heat.'

⁴⁶ "Why do you call me: 'Master, Master,' and yet not do what I say?

²⁹ But he answered his father, 'See, all these years I have been serving you, and I never broke a command of yours, yet you have never given me a kid to make merry with my friends.

²⁰ Another one came, saying, 'Sir, here is your silver, which I kept laid away in a napkin. ²¹ For I feared you, because you are an austere man; you take up what you did not lay down and you reap where you did not sow.' ²² He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. Did you know that I was an austere man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping where I did not sow?

⁷ Therefore fleshly mindedness is hostile to God; for it is not subject to the Law of God, nor can it be.

²⁰ But who are you, O man, who are answering back to God? Does the thing that is moulded say to the moulder, "Why have you made me so?"
