³³ But a certain Samaritan as he traveled came near him, and saw him and pitied him,

⁵ These twelve Jesus sent out and directed them: "Do not go into any way of the Gentiles. Do not enter into any city of the Samaritans.

³³ Ought you not to have had pity on your fellow servant as I had pity on you?'

¹³ When the Master saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep,"

⁵² and sent on messengers in advance. In journeying they came to a village of Samaritans to make arrangements for him. ⁵³ The Samaritans did not receive him because his face was toward Jerusalem.

¹⁶ and he fell on his face at the feet of Jesus, thanking him. He was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed? But the nine — where are they? ¹⁸ Was there none found returning to give glory to God except this foreigner?"

⁹ The Samaritan woman said to him, "How do you, a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.

⁴⁸ The Jews answered him, "Do we not say correctly that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?"
